  1. If you have the time it's easier just to drive yourself. Take your time. Stop where you like. No taxis. Driving is not for everyone, especially in Thailand. However I find it fun and thoroughly enjoy it.
  2. In Border crossings are a nightmare in regards to Thailand. The Friendship bridges built to travel to Laos are virtually deserted (pre-Covid) because all the red tape and paperwork. I can't see a seamless border crossing with hundreds of passengers and goods. Most people will find it easier and cheaper just to fly. Thailand continues its bungling beurocratic ways in regards to border crossings. It would be exciting to be able to do such a train trip though!
  3. I've noticed that if I take it Longer than a few days.
  4. Thats way cheaper than I've seen at local pharmacies. Good to know!
  5. I've used "Melatonin" occasionally. It's natural sleep aid. A little excersise and no alcohol will help. I also bought a really comfortable posture pedic bed from Central. Also having two young kids knocks me out by the end of the day. I've seen Melatonin at a few pharmacies in bigger cities. Its more expensive in Thailand. If you have a friend in the US send it is pretty cheap from COSTCO.
  6. I told my wife and she said, "Thats what most Thai's call it". I guess just have to get used to it.
  7. Get descent Bluetooth speakers, 5.1 Bluetooth has excellent quality and you can connect from quite far. I've used Tune-In radio app from the Google Play Store. Theres a free and paid version with discount codes available, just Google "Discount codes Tune-In". Thats what I do. It's nice when I'm working around the house or backyard. Good luck!
  8. Vietnam looks fresh and exciting. Definitely a place to visit. Great food also!
  9. Dealerships are renowned for being overpriced. But the owners definitely deserve a proper paint job. Hopefully they come to an equitable agreement and all sides are happy.
  10. Great. Despite traffic getting worse for the next 3 years this will be a good thing.
  11. There run by the ciggerett and vaping companies. Vaping is addictive and harmful.
  12. I was under the impression China was detering most, including students from traveling or studying abroad due to the pandemic. I guess not Thats fine as long as there isn't any buffet's at the University.
  13. Too much of a good thing. The "Wow" factor isn't there if its every weekend. I notice that the domestic tourists just hang around the perimeter and don't pay to enter the concert. I've been there while there have been concerts. There's people but its not that crowded. Lots of Thais eating street food and alcohol bought at 7/11. Fun atmosphere
  14. More likely to run one under the guise of having an education visa.
  15. You'll be surprised at how inexpensive painting a car can be here in Thailand. This won't be the case if the car is painted at a dealership.
  16. Bubbles are so 2021. If you want to travel these days proof vaccination and a PCR test 72 hours before travel should suffice. The majority of Indians aren't big spenders. That said, there very pleasant people.
  17. Its (Sinovac) expiring in 30 days. Thailand never gives anything for free. They'll ask for something.
  18. Hopefully they spent a little dosh in-between killings to help support the economy!
  19. Perhaps you could chat with the seller and put "Toy" on invoice instead of "Model".
