Thai Airways posts earnings after debt restructuring, assets sale
MrJ2U replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
After that what was left in regards to profit? It'll be more revealing to see how the airline is doing in the first quarter of 2022. It seems that the government has changed the tune on its "National Airlines" stance. Does this mean a return to the,*free" travel days again for politicians, important people, family members, poodles, etc? -
Rats or mice in the crawl space chewing wires is so common. Once you replace the wires get some sticky bate traps sprinkled with fragrant rice/poison mixture. Bayers is second generation poison and it'll take 5-7 days for the rats to die, hopefully outside foraging. It usually this time of year the population explodes.

PM urges Health Ministry to crack down on sales of sub-standard ATKs
MrJ2U replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I'm sure it will. I don't buy Chinese test kits though. Chinese tend to cut corners on everything. They have ones made in South Korea and Germany available for slightly more at Watsons. Hopefully niether of us feel the need to use the tests. -
You can borrow my VCR and all my "Murder she wrote" cassettes.

I'm happy. Bad heartburn though.

Probably not. Huge false positives from them now in Thailand. Repeated Tests Confirm No COVID with Mukdahan Students https://tna.mcot.net/english-news-817104 -
Maybe. Just do what ever makes you happy. Lots of great content out there!

"It’s like a graveyard’: Thailand’s famous Khaosan Road is struggling despite return of tourists". it was dead before the Pandemic. The death knell was the complete transformation by Prayut to clean it up and "sanitize" the " "messy" look. That fun hippy vibe, cheap drinks, and backpackers paradise turned into any street USA. Boring!

MrJ2U replied to Jorje's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I had the same problem with Netflix and Spotify. I called and they said it was because of the latest problem. They okay individual foriegn purchases after you call them and explain your doing the purchase. Supposed to be like this just a few weeks until the fix the problem with security breaches. -
Thailand’s nightlife venues to reopen on Jan 16, subject to assessment
MrJ2U replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I think thats it. They don't want to tell the people what they already know. The pandemic is still raging and the majority of the people are vaccinated with subpar vaccines. By January the whole country most likely be struggling under the weight of COVID-19 cases. -
Check out Troypoint.com. He's got some excellent tutorials on streaming apps. Just interesting if you have a few minutes. With your speed you could stream them easily in 4k. For me I watch a movie maybe twice a year. I like documentaries and watching Bob the Train with my 2 year old son. I'd like to download some cartoons on USB stick for long drives. Downloading torrents could get you in trouble in the West. But surely nobody cares here in Southeast Asia. Enjoy your movie library! Hope you have a giant TV!
