It's almost like a game. Good for you! It's a drag and time consuming to have to switch hotels. Well done.

You'll usually get a better deal booking directly with the hotel. I use sites like Agoda, booking. Com, Hotels.com, etc as a reference. Then just book on the hotels website or call them. There happy not to pay the commission and offer you a better prices. Although for small "Thai" owned hotels it can be useful as the staff have little leeway when the Chinese owners aren't there.

That about sums it up. If you're renting you can come and go to each city as you please. Sounds fun! -
Be interesting to see how that ends up. There usually a little more lenient to thier own. Its terrible outcome for everyone involved.

I use 5-10 times a month. Sometimes much cheaper than the big box stores (monopoly). For sure convienant! I still like going to the physical stores for people watching and air-conditioning. -
My wife uses the banks option to withdraw, deposit, or transfer money without the physical card. I haven't done it but the option is available.

A elderly nieghbor died and my wife is helping out with the food,cleanup, etc. I mentioned that it was awfully quiet funeral. She said no alcohol at this particular funeral. I assume free alcohol at weddings, funerals, monkhood, brings out everyone including the rowdy ones in the villages. And thus rowdy and noisy behavior.

I've heard from phillipino friends that crime is pretty bad there. But be smart and aware and you'll be fine. Philippines are absolutely beautiful along with the ladies. -

Great place. Espresso if you're single. Lots of fun and beautiful women. Cheap accomodations. Great shopping and restaurants. Close to Bangkok and airports.

Pickpocketing can happen anywhere. My advice is always wear clunky gold jewelry and store an overstuffed wallet in the back pocket to be safe. -
