  1. Seems like it's raining all the time in Bangkok Typhoon or not! Do you think the river will breach the walls? Seems the storm has taken a more Southernly direction.
  2. With Moderna, Pfeizer, etc it was practically impossible the first year and a half to get these vaccines in Thailand despite safety protocols in the USA and Europe. The GPO, government, etc we're blocking life saving medicine. Now some Thai medicine with basically no trials pops up and you can get it at your local 7/11 no problem. I wonder who owns this company. Hope nobody buys it and they go bust.
  3. Very unusual. Sounds more like a twisted deal gone bad. Someone extorts money from you, especially on an island it would be easy to apprehend them at the Ferry or airport before absconding. Russians always conniving.
  4. Medical tourism for the US women who's retarded Supreme Court has been taken over by religious zealots.
  5. A more Southernly direction than predicted yesterday. Today:
  6. Did actually sell any copies? Lao folk art and Thai temples. Sounds exciting.
  7. Fascinating.
  8. Upgraded to "Super Typhoon" yesterday. Even as a tropical depression it'll pack a punch and plenty of moisture as it moves slowly over Northern Thailand.
  9. And 6 days later Nuru's runoff will roll into Bangkok like a sledgehammer. They've already flooded fields upper Bangkok proper and Ayutthaya. https://zoom.earth/storms/noru-2022/
  10. Nice site for live updates: https://zoom.earth/storms/noru-2022/
  11. "Heavy rain, flash floods forecast for most provinces as Noru heads to Vietnam" [Thailand News App] Nation Thailand: Heavy rain, flash floods forecast for most provinces as Noru heads to Vietnam https://www.nationthailand.com/thailand/general/40020445
  12. Where is here? Antarctica?
  13. What's dramatic about it? Unless you look it up it's not readily available in any case. Just as anything Thailand Health Ministry is got it's head in the sand. Hopefully you agree on that. Good time to stop reporting inaccurate numbers while the Health Minister begins his run for Prime Minister. Report or not the Pandemic is still here and could mutate at anytime.
  14. You've still got until Thursday to prepare. I've got generators for our refrigerators and TV'S. The river near our house is already close to overflowing even without the coming deluge. I'm excited. Nothing really happens in Issan. Beats watching the chickens cross the street.
  15. They'll still need to report numbers to the WHO. Brushing things under the rug doesn't help anyone especially since the pandemic is still effecting thousands of people daily in Thailand. Ridiculous.
  16. Definitely wise for people to get a rabies vaccine.
  17. Tyrants are still running the country. Pandemic is still here.
  18. They were never reporting the correct numbers anyway. There's actually more 10,000 cases a day and many more deaths. Hopefully they'll still be some records of it to report to the World Health Organization. Now that Anutin is running for PM only good news can be reported when it comes to Thailand's Health matters. Ludicrous!
  19. He was Australian. What other proof would you need?
  20. I'll have to try that
  21. Interesting. I wonder if they would take a chance that it could just collapse. You'd need a suitcase of rubles to stay long with a family in Phuket. I honestly don't think there's that many with all the travel sanctions.
  22. That would be sensible thing for immigration to institute.
  23. Jeeze! Just got the bill with the new rates. Despite being away from the house for 7 days the Bill is up over 1000 baht from last time and the weather isn't so hot as well so less air-conditioning also. Hopefully they'll be a revolt! Very fishy? PTT made record profits and oil and natural gas prices have been declining. Recession, terrible wages, inflation, etc. Where's the mass protest to get rid of this regime of thugs!
  24. More than anyone in this "government". Also she's easier on the eye's than Prawit.
  25. He didn't get even ONE single vote in a poll of over 700 people in Bangkok when asked who they would like as Prime Minister. Isn't that lovely!
