    The school chose the bus company. A company with a 54y.o. bus, illegally fitted with 11 gas tanks. Is the school expected to have to conduct technical examinations of each bus owned by a, presumably, reputed transport company and also check the licencing details through the government?

It was originally a bus, built on a chassis, as they all are, powered by an Isuzu engine that was later replaced by a Mercedes diesel converted to NGV. Having Merc badges means nothing and certainly doesn't make it a death trap in the normal course of events.

    There is no flame resistant seating fabric that would normally be fitted to that type of vehicle that could survive that intense a fire!

    It was fitted with ten NGV tanks, not diesel.

    It has not been established yet that "shoddy maintenance" was to blame. "Probably original work"? The bus was originally diesel fuelled.

    Same reason every other type of vehicle have similarly inflammable interiors.

    In the specific legal circumstance that I posted about, yes. Don't see how you see it as "convenient", though...convenient for whom, and how?

    Sure it was. He denies any responsibility. That was in the article. Denying responsibility, from a legal standpoint, is not an indication of lack of remorse, it is a sensible thing to do for someone who believes that they are not guilty of a deliberate killing .

    When in prison you can't pay the rent or the mortgage. He has a mortgage to pay? If he doesn't pay his rent he doesn't lose his house, he doesn't own a house to lose.

    There was no suggestion that he was his "best friend". Neither was it reported that he had no remorse.

    So you are allowed an opinion on something, but someone else isnt allowed an opinion on your opinion? Holzerfilled's comment that Gottfrid referenced was not him expressing an opinion about anything, it was him ridiculing Gottfrid and pompously suggesting that he (Holzerfilled) represented the entire AN membership!
