  1. If he caused no damage, obviously, it is ok. You think that it's a crime?
  2. You think?... "ThaiRath reported that the fire started in the engine room..."
  3. No, it doesn't, "lady" means a woman; law-abiding, decent or polite doesn't change that.
  4. Fine, they were 22 at the time. Three years into 'adulthood.' What's your point? My point was that they were not kids, they were adults. What was yours? Adulthood starts at age 18, so by age 22 they were in their fifth year of being adults, not three...18, 19, 20, 21, 22.
  5. It doesn't matter how many years he's been active. @TorquayFan very well may have had better things to do with his time than browsing AseanNOW when that particular story developed. That story has been all over the media for weeks, not just in AN!
  6. ...and continued as she escaped police custody in a second taxi that became involved...as the article clearly reported
  7. Even if the couple had broken up 4 months before her holiday ? She was still, possibly, having sex on the beach with the bloke who was found dead, naked, so, yes, if she hadn't have been there she's be alive today.
  8. What has her "beauty" and hair colour got to do with it? She didn't decide to "just go home", she decided to go home, via the beach, with a bloke.
  9. If ever anyone was capable of repeatedly reaffirming the obvious flaws in their character it has to be the poster above.... But his comment was also accurate.
  10. Shipments using Thailand Post are held at the recipient's local delivery office pending duty payment, not Lak Si.
  11. Who on earth is going to be importing goods valued at B1? The reference to B1 was simply to explain that, currently, imports valued at less than B1500 (B1-1,500) are duty-free.
  12. The post office collects the tax. ...or the courier...or the Customs department.
  13. In relation to this OP, they don't have lower tax rates, there is/was just a level below which no tax was imposed.
  14. Where has the "B50-100 cost for collection of the VAT on each individual item" that you quote been detailed? Perhaps on a governmental scale the cost would only be B1 in which case the government's "profit" would be substantial?
  15. Yes, she would but there are special visa arrangements for visiting entertainers. EDIT: As others mentioned
  16. Maybe check out the Thai Criminal Code, your answer will be there.
  17. No, but your manners are 'stone age'. A shame that you can't answer a simple question politely, as a 12/14 Advanced Member. A shame that as a ten-year member of the forum you don't know what is going on here, something that has been frequently reported here.
  18. Because bar/club management is not a restricted occupation.
  19. Many "Indians" are Thai Indians working perfectly legally, being Thai.
  20. You could read other sources for the correct story about the warrant that has been issued this afternoon.
