  1. takes you right in to a part of the city from where other transport is necessary.
  2. I made no such suggestion. I did post that you do not have a 117-page policy document.
  3. Are you implying that the Policy wording has no relevance ? No...I did not post that.
  4. You argue this all the time... And you know exactly what is meant... 'Fine print' is a very common colloquialism used for the detailed terms and conditions and policy wording... but you know that already.... Yes, of course I know what that figure of speech means but it is also used deliberately by irrational insurance company haters who just want to disparage the industry by suggesting that there actually are conditions in fine print.
  5. It's general information that can apply to everyone who has a policy and those who don't, I got it when I went to their site and I do not have a policy, it does not refer to the specifics of your cover.
  6. "you need to check the fine print on your insurance policy". There is no "fine print".
  7. That's just part of their web page providing information, it is not a policy with 117 pages, nor is it a copy of your own policy's conditions although some of them will be specific to your policy.
  8. Well said. That "117-page policy" clearly wasn't an actual issued policy, no regulated insurers would dare produce a 117-page travel insurance policy and/or policy conditions. That company is an Authorised Representative of an Australian public company selling policies underwritten in Australia and New Zealand by Pacific International Insurance Pty Ltd but with offices in Europe, UK, US et al and various other reputable, regulated underwriters.
  9. It has always been ok to openly criticise anyone, including Jews, except where certain laws forbid it (and none of those laws include Jews).
  10. Absolutely. And, more generally, no policies will cover any illegal activities, that would include riding motorbikes unlicenced, without a helmet, being intoxicated, etc. The only ambiguity in this case is the nurse's.
  11. Hahaha... LL - thats quite ridiculous... Call the insurer to have a discussion to covering every eventuality... I know you always take the side of the 'Insurance' to such a degree I suspect you actually work in insurance such is your extent of 'brainwashing'.... "Hahaha... LL - thats quite ridiculous... Call the insurer to have a discussion to covering every eventuality" From your own link... "Things to do after you buy this policy Read it! Cover to cover. Yes, all of it. No surprises or assumptions. Ask World Nomads if you don’t understand what it means". "I suspect you actually work in insurance...". I do comment rationally about insurance because I did work in an insurance company and also had my own brokerage, hence, I do know what I'm talking about as opposed to all those throwing around false assertions about insurers and how they operate.
  12. Don't talk to me like I am 5, it's insulting. Do it again and I will report you. You have added nothing to the thread. There's nothing in his comment that you quoted that he could be rationally reported for!
  13. Nothing in the headline stated, or even suggested that... "Scottish woman’s cliff plunge in Thailand sparks insurance debacle"
  14. It is even better known that that claim is just b0llocks. Around 90% of all insurance claims are paid out.
  15. It is even better known that that claim is just b0llocks. Around 90% of all insurance claims are paid out, no insurer wants the reputation of being a non-payer.
  16. If you can't understand what the policy covers you for, call the insurer or broker and ask for clarification of the specific point.
  17. Absolutely, that Thaiger News is a load of <deleted> Jesus, two words ("almost" and "plunged") were transposed, that's all.
  18. Which insurer is it that issues policies that consist of "117 pages"? 117?
  19. A better move would be to simply read the policy conditions of your health insurance policy to see if there are any exclusions re injuries resulting from riding motorbikes (unlikely for a health insurance policy).
  20. Really sorry......I take that back and apologise profusely and profoundly..... Sorry, not profuse enough.
  21. You went to an agent wanting a fix for a non-existent problem. Complaining about the cost for his doing what he does and what you wanted him to do is strange. Perhaps you wanted him to tell you for free why you shouldn't use him to do his job!
  22. No, just because you appear to have been scammed doesn't make it "a land of scams".
