  1. Really? Didn't you start this by posting that "keyboard warriors" should "get a life"?! So much for your claim that you keep scrolling rather than make hostile comments!
  2. I don't think that you have any idea exactly what was happening there!
  3. I was expecting a hostile reply from you 😂 Is it such a big bloody deal? Is what "such a big bloody deal"?
  4. Some of them have, not most. BBL, UOB, haven't. "Most of them have cancelled their Internet Banking citing "security reasons". Which banks have actually said that is the reason?
  5. Bangkok Bank, Krungsri, Kasikorn or UOB. All are as good as each other, and that's pretty good.
  6. Not at all unlikely...I have accounts with Bangkok Bank, KTB, UOB, Krungsri and Kasikorn and have compared their internet banking facilities, those that still offer online banking are all as good as each other. KTB has withdrawn its online personal banking service.
  7. Then you know that "life" does not necessarily mean, literally, the rest of their life in prison. A 43-year old did get 26 years in June for drugs offences, which, for him, could turn out to be, effectively, life. Twenty years, plus, is not unusual.
  8. What makes you think he'll be boarded like that? Regardless, many people take flights in shorts and flip flops.
  9. A big difference is that supplying Class A drugs in the UK carries a potential life sentence, conviction for reckless driving causing death in Thailand is a traffic offence and doesn't.
  10. Because Thai prison is not one of his options.
  11. Spoton, UK laws are just as soft as p!ss weak Aussie law. What's so "spot on" about his not knowing penalties for Class A supplying?
  12. "Mr. Ben, a 28-year-old British national, a drug trafficking suspect in the UK who was arrested in Phuket Province, has been transferred to Suvarnabhumi Airport for interrogation and preparation for extradition back to the UK on September 2, 2024". https://www.khaosodenglish.com/news/crimecourts
  13. Just that he's a known drugs fiend living in Thailand. Leopards/spots? Oh, I see, no relevance, at all.
  14. What has that got to do with a UK case?
  15. What's the relevance of penalties in Thailand to this case?
  16. Easy for the RTP to track down someone in Thailand, impossible for them to do the same out of their jurisdiction which stops at the Thai borders.
