  1. No, never. To use the words of someone earlier in the thread (can't be ar_sed to check who) that's a "preposterous, irrational and utterly illogical" idea!
  2. Nonsense. They would have plugged a machine into the OBD2 port to clear the engine light... there is a code. Possibly "nonsense" from you, also. If there was no check engine light showing when it was taken in there's a pretty good chance that, being car sales outfit, not a mechanics shop, they wouldn't investigate it very deeply, if at all, particularly if the ten-year old car's warranty is just about to end..
  3. "Tent" (the word that you used) is just a word used to describe used car dealers and their premises in general, it is not an indication of how their premises are built, what they look like or whether they're "proper" companies. You've got a warranty so you've got no problems while it is still in effect. If you're asking what to do when the warranty expires, you can't do anything (as far as enforcing repairs on the dealer) except to take it somewhere and pay for it to be fixed.
  4. Opinions are allowed to be posed a requested by the OP, though. The company had lots of good reports prior to Darren's death and good experiences or bad experiences are just that, experiences, not gossip.
  5. There wasn't a fault code, he took it to them when the 'check engine' light was not on...
  6. How could anyone expect them to find a fault that wasn't indicated? You need to take it in when the check engine light is showing.
  7. Tents have one purpose, that is to sell used cars, they are not technical service centres, no one would expect their skills to be in any other area than sales.
  8. Of course you can return the car to the dealer but don't expect to get your money back if that is what you were thinking on a ten-year old car! Does the warranty specifically have that provision and is it a written warranty, i.e. official? Verbal warranties are not warranties.
  9. I said good and bad reports, and it was about "Advice". No, you did not, neither did you make any mention of "Advice". My comment was to use Lazada's returns system, you commented that "there had been many bad reports about them". In response to my comment about Lazada the only "them" that you could possibly be referring to could be Lazada. Yes, but would it be wise to spend at least 15,000Bt on a computer from Lazada? How do I know I will not get a second hand upgraded one. I have had bad dealings in the past there and there have been many bad reports about them on this forum.
  10. Did Lazada tell you to live there or did you choose to? You cannot blame them for your location and if they cannot provide the services that you may need why would you risk buying through them?
  11. Is that you back to your usual stupid answers? Reciprocated re your question about how they stay in business.
  12. An extradition proceeding might reveal a situation where the accusation was a sham to go after an "errant" human rights activist. They had their visas revoked, so what? They were B1.5bn scammers, not human rights activists!
  13. Rejected by Lazada? Don't believe it if that's all there was to it.
  14. No, it does not. You may not approve but it sure does not make it your business...you're free to take your business elsewhere.
  15. You must have misunderstood. It was in plain English. And, being in English, perhaps the "rule" is aimed at the English "uncultured pigs" ( to use the OP's expression), not the Chinese!
  16. Stretch or not, it would be the owners business, not the OP's (who the Chinese customers may have found just as objectionable!).
  17. ...but he'd have to make sure that it is only displayed in his own coffee shop, not someone else's business premises!
  18. What has it got to do with him, he has no authority to complain to the business about who they serve!
  19. It's a freedom we have if we want to do that. The private coffee shop, or KFC or McDonald's does not fall under your 'kin authority. Some people on this forum behave like "uncultured pigs" (not you, of course, I'd never suggest that, don't misunderstand me) but that is their prerogative.
  20. Absolutely right, why should they when there are staff to do that?
  21. So what? It' was none of his business, either!
  22. They're not your rules, nothing to do with you at all. Get it?
