  1. "...if she married a farang she would have most likely taken the house, car and money by now". You know her or anything about her? She married a foreigner and she didn't take the house, car and money, what difference does the foreigner's national make?
  2. "The fact that you compare them to "normal people..." That is not a "fact". I did not compare them to normal people, I made a reference to what I consider to be normal behaviour, as is my privilege. As I have said to another poster, this is a discussion forum on which posters are entitled to have and post their opinions, even if they do not align with everyone else's, this forum is not intended to be a one-sided fan club with every comment falling into line with some kind of agenda.
  3. There are a lot of other rights which are denied. Which civil rights are they denied as Jingthing, to whom I was responding, claimed? That was my point.
  4. What constitutes an "unapproved EV"? Grey imports are not "unapproved" unless the appropriate import duty has not been paid.
  5. Why would the transport office oppose registration? Is she just complaining about the time she has been on red plates, perhaps?
  6. You are saying that people get treated equally which isn't true at all. That is not what I said, please do not misquote me, I said that we all have the same civil rights, that is a fact, we do. LGBs etc. are not denied any civil rights by virtue of their inclinations.
  7. Why are you always so eager, and never fail, to be one of the first to make negative comments on any LGBQ thread ???? Keep your homophobic agenda to yourself and stop hijacking these threads that don't concern you. You just make the same inane comments against gay people or the LGBQ community, and get the same answers each time. So you must be either really dumb or just a nasty bitter old homophobic man. "Why are you always so eager, and never fail, to be one of the first to make negative comments on any LGBQ thread" Is there anything that prevents me from posting my opinion on any forum threads? This is a discussion forum, isn't it, not a one-sided fan club? "Keep your homophobic agenda to yourself and stop hijacking these threads that don't concern you". I have no "homophobia" as you claim, neither do I have an agenda. I do have opinions, as does everyone else here, and I have exactly the same right to express my opinions...even if they do not align with yours. Expressing opinions on the subject of the thread is not hijacking the thread. "...you must be either really dumb or just a nasty bitter old homophobic man". Really? At least I'm not so dumb as to not know the forum rules.
  8. Well, living in Thailand for 6 years with wife and Thai. I know how Thai men with low self-esteem act I had a feeling that you'd have nothing, whatsoever, to base your assertion of this case on...I was right. Living in Thailand for 29 years, with two Thai (ex-)wives and three Thai children I know how AN posters react!
  9. I still have my account and I have been in Thailand for almost 40 years You and many others, that's why I referred to new accounts, not existing accounts (which could be closed by the bank at any time they choose). Tell them that you're no longer UK resident, it'd be interesting to know their reaction.
  10. Genuine question, how did you determine that, did SCB confirm it? I understood that (non-bank) premises had to pay the banks for ATMs to be installed.
  11. I'm going with the (lack of?) civil rights discussion. the one that you started!
  12. Very nasty, desperate stretch trying to bring anti-semitism into my comments.
  13. We're talking about civil rights, in general, that are denied to certain inclinations, not very specific but unmentioned "legal protections".
  14. No, I'm not, that's just your opinion but don't expect people to notice.
  15. Perhaps you might educate yourself. I'm trying, so how about you just specify which civil rights are being denied to LGBs, etc. here?
  16. I didn't say that they do signify that but the fact that the parades exist suggests that those participating and supporting them are announcing that the parades make them more worthy of attention than any other groups who do not rub their inclinations in our faces, so to speak, by parading it!
  17. If that is your orgin so be it so it should be written. What? Could you post that in English?
  18. Not in Thailand. Not in the majority of the countries in the world. Stop lying. Stop lying about my "lying". What civil rights are denied to LGBs etc. in the majority of the world's countries?
  19. Why are LGBs, etc. civil rights (that already exist) more of an issue than anyone else's so much so that they need global parades?
