  1. He wasn't in the prison hospital, he was in the PGH and long term inpatients obviously have access to barber facilities. Anyway, how do you know that he doesn't wear a wig that would account for his fulsome locks?
  2. Google read properly would be your friend, also.
  3. Different Russians, as are Pattaya and Patong!
  4. That is ridiculous, , He was in the luxury wing of a police hospital....Kevin Smitham, Mathew Winder as examples, did not get treated so well, He wasn't in "the luxury wing" he was just in a private room. How was Smitham "not treated so well by the hospital" to which he was taken? Winder was not in hospital (and did not need to be in hospital) immediately prior to his death in a police cell.
  5. Because everyone is entitled to their medical privacy and to chose who is permitted to visit.
  6. You think that patients in hospitals do not have access to barbers/hairdressers?
  7. Care to give an example, with evidence, of other prisoners' dying as a result of being denied medical care?
  8. The two who sounded their horn at and tried to disrupt the Princess's motorcade have not been locked up for years.
  9. No, it would not. It could be described as being "south" of CM but not as being "the South"
  10. Wise cards are not available in Thailand.
  11. A migraine is a very bad headache or severe headache. That's the definition of a migraine. There is much more to a migraine attack than a headache, if that's all it was it'd just be called a headache or all headaches would be called migraines. Head aches are nuisance, migraines can be seriously debilitating.
  12. Semantics aside, yes it did. What do you mean, "Yes it did"? Yes what did and what did it do? Semantics do not come into it, Yingluck was not PM at the time of the coup.
  13. Dreadfully sorry, I misread your post...deepest apologies.
  14. Are migraines just headaches? No, they're not, Look it up. I'm not commenting about the causes.
  15. I suggest others see my post and link below above for clarification! I suggest that you try to understand who was actually PM at the time of the coup...it was not Yingluck!
  16. Yingluck was Thailand's first female prime minister and its youngest in over 60 years. She was removed from office on 7 May 2014 by a Constitutional Court decision! I know! She was removed by the Constitutional Court before the coup took place and at the time of the coup Niwatthamrong Boonsongpaisan had replaced Yingluck as caretaker prime minister.
  17. Actually a coup d'état is when the military usurp power and take over from the elected government in power as happened in 2006 to Thaksin. It also happened to his sister, Yingluck in 2014. Another term that could be used in place of a coup d'état is treason against the state. Expand Never heard of irony? Never heard of puns? There was no irony, and certainly no puns, in your comment.
  18. No, it did not. She was not Prime Minister at the time of the 2014 coup!
  19. He's not gone home just because of he's ill, he's gone home because he qualified for parole.
  20. Just a bad headache... Garbage. If that's what you think then you've never had a migraine attack. Some drama queens like to call headaches "migraines" just as they refer to a cold as "the flu".
  21. I get far less headaches by taking better care of the diet. Good for you but migraines are not just headaches!
  22. Doesn't necessarily work for migraine.
  23. Can't help with that one but I've relied on Cafergot for my chronic migraines. Usually only ever have to take one tablet to be effective, very occasionally a second is needed, but never more than that. You have my sympathy for something that only migraine sufferers can understand.
  24. The salubrious Swedish prison environment would be irrelevant considering that extradition would be requested to have them returned to Thailand for prosecution.
  25. And even if they were also British passport holders the British Embassy would not be in any position, or have any obligation, to assist them.
