  1. Obviously, you do not know much about how Thailand classifies vehicles, "luxury" in Thai automotive terms indicates expensive, not luxurious.
  2. Exactly, an anonymous "caller" with an unlikely and unrealistic situation. Well done, This Morning, and the Daily Mail, on doing a "Thaivisa-poster"...making up the entire thing for views.
  3. So what did your friend do about it? He just accepted the situation?
  4. Does a typo sound right? "Thai Rath reported on several developments yesterday evening in the case of the disappearance of the eight month old infant boy called "Nong Tor".
  5. We cannot rely, of course, on a Thaivisa poster being given/relaying a complete rundown of the police evidence-gathering and the police may have just told the journalist that they're checking CCTV because they were, in fact, going into everything.
  6. You're not seriously suggesting that Australia never suffers from sh!te washed up on it's beaches?
  7. Cars manufactured in Thailand meet all current international safety requirements.
  8. So what exactly is wrong in that area besides idiot drivers? That there was a fatal accident blocking the road is what was "exactly wrong" in that area at the time of the advisory.
  9. An accidental collision. It was certainly out of the control of the rescue foundation's personnel...pure and simple.
  10. Koreans can't get a license here to sell ganja. Can a 51% owner of the business get a licence? Maybe he was showing a licence for the business, not for him, personally. Maybe he is a financial partner of the Thai business? But isn't his "ownership" of the business irrelevant in the light of him and another person being shot?
  11. If "his" shop is licenced it would be legal, surely? There were no reports of the actual share distribution of the business. The motorcyclist was at a different location when he realised he needed treatment apparently, so, different responders. Even if the responders were the same he could request to taken to any hospital if he's going to be paying for it, can't he? What's the relevance of Kasunee's working status or whether she was a customer of the restaurant?
  12. a licence for what? selling marihuana? held by a non-Thai? Are you saying that a pot shop, probably minority-owned by a Korean cannot be licenced?
  13. There's never been any difficulty getting Oxo beef cubes here, nor has there ever been a ban on the importation of them to Thailand. The issue is that Knorr Thailand no longer makes their beef stock variant due to lack of demand for it in Thailand, that's why so many posters cannot get that brand.
  14. Not new stock, you cannot, that Knorr product has been deleted and is no longer manufactured or offered for sale from major supermarkets and other retail distribution outlets in Thailand.
  15. TOT has not gone paperless, I get my landline phone bill, and a subsequent receipt, in the post. TRUE internet also.
  16. That's not accurate according to the Road Traffic Act, B.E. 2522, Section 45... "No driver shall overtake other conveyance by the left side of the overtaken conveyance, except in the following cases: (1) the conveyance which is going to be overtaken is turning right, or gives right turning signal; (2) such road is divided into two or more lanes of the same direction. The overtaking by the left side of the overtaken conveyance under (1) or (2) may be done only when there is no other conveyance following behind.
  17. It is clear that you are much better informed than most posters here who are going to guess at answers for you and throw in a bit of gratuitous Thai-bashing!
  18. Bear in mind that having an address on the waybill doesn't mean that there'll be a shop at that address.
