  1. It's finance you were offered by a dealer, not a loan per se, as in bank. Car finance is a loan...per se [sic]. The bank pays the loan amount to the dealer and the debtor repays his loan to the bank/finance company by monthly payments.
  2. I'm not sure that anyone would be that interested in knowing his name but he's a foreigner, you said that he's not in Thailand, he's blacklisted, so how can Thailand's defamation laws have any relevance?
  3. Where did you get that bizarre "statistic" from?! "Thailand Household Debt reached 445.2 USD bn in Jun 2021". https://www.ceicdata.com/en/indicator/thailand/household-debt--of-nominal-gdp#:~:text=Thailand household debt accounted for,86.6 % in the previous quarter.&text=The data reached an all,of 40.6 % in Mar 2003.
  4. So you live in Chiang Mai .....I did not know that Lou You got something right, at last! I was, of course, commenting in the context of the title of your OP which is... "How is the water pressure in your area ?". I told you how the water pressure is in my area!
  5. No, appearance is objective, opinion about someone's appearance is subjective. That woman is an attractive woman, objectively, she is not factually "absolutely hideous" as one poster said.
  6. Nice.... Do all there cars have heaters in them because it might snow.... This is a tropical country, are you determined to make your search as difficult as possible by needing a facility that most Thais vehicles do not have? Are you requiring heated seats and steering wheel, also? What about snow-rated tyres?
  7. No, I'd suggest that he just thinks, quite rightly, that it's particularly daft to say that the girl in the photo is "absolutely hideous, when, objectively, she isn't!
  8. Why? What is so unacceptable about blue footwear? Red or white footwear doesn't stir up the "ultra-nationalists", does it?
  9. Same colours but it's not the Thai flag, they made that mistake before.
  10. Very odd "journalistic" licence by Thaivisa, the original article didn't mention "dozen" anywhere. Maybe next time they'll continue to extract the Michael by slipping in bushels and pecks.
  11. That's what he got a ticket for! Driving on the left is the law here.
  12. 'Trying to locate' maybe? Hunting is usually reserved for animals or criminals. "Hunt" can be used in the context of animals or criminals but it is not "reserved" for that! "Hunt" also means to look determinedly for something or someone but that does not mean that they are considered to be animals or criminals.
  13. It could incredibly easily be altered and retain accuracy. Why does it need to be altered? What do you know that was inaccurate about the headline, were any of them not African?
  14. Do you know if they are? Obviously, I do not know, no one knows that but then I did not say that I did know, did I? It's very unlikely, however, that they would not have done their due diligence on such a huge purchase.
  15. What's so "disgusting" about it? If they were trying to locate people from Britain, would it be "disgusting" to have the headline "Hunt On For 783 Britons -"?
  16. What would be problem with that in Europe/US if people from Africa needed to be located? How could the headline be altered and retain accuracy?
  17. Are they still making nuisances of themselves in Soi 13? I used to be there everyday/night and they moved on after the Hyatt Regency opened. Have they moved back?
  18. "There is too much garbage to be found online". Erm...this is online, isn't it?!
  19. I suppose you need to start by defining "quality commentary". There are unlimited sources, someone invented the internet, didn't they? Those who do not know where to find investment commentary probably shouldn't be anywhere near an "investment club".
  20. You've never heard of appeals in Thai courts? The company has made a police complaint of fraud by the insured, doesn't that count or does it just have to be ignored?
  21. Proof of what? That foreign companies can make purchases in Thailand over the 49% level? Why do I need to prove that? It's freely available information, try Google for a start.
