    It is not the banks that are corrupt, all they are doing is opening accounts (if necessary) and facilitating transactions in those accounts. The banks' involvement stops there when the agents and IOs step in.

    The only ban is on mule accounts used for facilitating scams, not legitimate new bank accounts opened with the assistance of an agent.

    True.... But what exactly has the TukTuk owner done wrong ? Is this any different from you letting your mate drive your car ? Yes, it is different...to drive a taxi a public service vehicle licence is required. The tuk tuk owner permitted an unlicenced driver to drive his taxi.

    The tourist has suffered no penalty, no ticket, no fine, no deportation, so why are you going on about deporting all tourists as though the one in this incident has been treated unfairly?

    Of course he does, everyone driving a vehicle on the road needs a valid licence. How could you even pose that question rationally?

    Someone has already posted the reasons...their travel policy was for India only but had expired anyway.

    They took 31 days of cover for a trip to India. That expired. Then they came to Thailand, a country for which, even if their policy had not expired, they would not be covered
