  1. He wasn't legally allowed to own any gun. Read the law in question in this case.
  2. You are aware of how this started, right? The sad truth is many get their info from right wing media sites which distort what really was going on. Hmm.... You are aware of how this started, right? The sad truth is many get their info from left wing media sites which distort what really was going on. Hmm.... Left wing media are known for not distorting the truth?
  3. There is no law in that state that stipulates that he had no legal right to carry that gun; the law in question does not allow him to carry the weapon only if it is short-barreled, it wasn't.
  4. "I haven't seen all the ins and outs but ... I think he should get minimum 10 years". Jesus... "The fact that the judge wouldn't let the victims be called victims but let them be called looters didn't help". Jesus... Yes, those facts, terrible things. Let's keep facts out of trials! "I think the racial point is relevant". Jesus... There is no racial aspect to Rittenhouse's case!
  5. Samsung A2 Core. Inexpensive (B2,500-ish), basic, does everything you want it to do. I've got two of them as emergency spares just in case anything happens to my (Google-equipped) Huawei.
  6. Thanks for that clarifying link. It confirms that, although HSBC had to pay a settlement to the US authorities, the bank was never indicted and that its operations were never suspended in the US...as GrandPapillon claimed.. "HSBC has signed a Deferred Prosecution Agreement for breaches of the US Bank Secrecy Act, the Trading with the Enemy Act and assorted money laundering offences. This is in effect putting the bank on probation," he said. "But if HSBC had been indicted for these offences [it wasn't] that would have meant that the US government and others could no longer have conducted business with it, which would have been humiliating and highly damaging." https://www.bbc.com/news/business-20673466
  7. Where? Which news? Specifically, if it's true. Edit: Don't bother. Another poster has quoted the decade old link that confirms that HSBC's activities in the US were not suspended, as you falsely claimed, because the bank was not indicted, it just had to pay a settlement to US authorities for it's transgressions.
  8. Garbage. There is an official, well-signposted 'proper taxi' rank at the airport for arrivals that does not require a SIM, app or phone, at all! That taxi "monopoly", to use your word, is the sort of "monopoly" that should be celebrated because, for a B50 official fee, from the official stand all taxis have to use meters. If the driver says he won't use the meter there are hundreds of others in the queue that will. If they don't and they are reported, they are banned from using the airport. The limousine service is not "exploiting the situation", the limousine service is a passive service there for people who approach its desk, the limousine service does not tout for passengers.
  9. They dont use a meter to go from province to province. You seem to be the one misleading the masses. I myself were charged this price from airport to Pattaya, so theres truth in my words Yes, there's may be a little truth in your claim but the vast majority of passengers do not travel inter-province using airport taxis! Taxis from the official taxi stand at the airport have to use their meters, if they don't want to, you do not have to take that taxi and can report it to the staff at the stand. That is fact and is not "misleading" anyone.
  10. Well done, I'm very happy for you but why address that to me? I did not promote or support cryptos in any way!
  11. Bolt Thailand doesn't offer a "Limousine Class"! Maybe you opted for the more plebian "Comfort Class".
  12. "we are talking today, not the past, sorry for my silly assumptions" I wasn't, I never mentioned present day and you weren't making assumptions, you were just not reading what I posted correctly! Glad that you understand your errors now. You've forgotten to copy the part from my comments where, you alleged, I "was promoting cryptos", when can you show me those recommendations here?
  13. they couldn't make certain transactions in USD for a while until the whole thing was settled Wow. That must have been all over the global financial news and knocked seven bells out of it's stock prices if the UK's biggest bank had it's services suspended in the US, how come there's no mention of it anywhere? When do you claim that was? What HSBS operations were suspended in the US? I believe it is false to state that HSBC's facilities/services have ever been suspended by the Fed.
  14. Well they're sure not obliged to provide free phone services!
  15. Yes, preventing unauthorised persons accessing your money was such a terrible thing for the bank to do.
  16. How long were you on the phone for in order to have to pay B1000 as you are claiming and which phone service provider?
  17. What does that mean, "HSBC got blacklisted"? They're not banned, boycotted or sanctioned in the US, they may have been fined for transgressions but most banks have!
  18. Hold fire on your BS assertion. UK is not Europe! Normal (not Covid-delayed!) time for signed-for Royal Mail from UK to Bangkok is about 5 days, maybe 7 days maximum. I got a renewed UK driving licence sent from UK, it took 5 days...as per normal.
  19. 1. I have not promoted cryptos. If you think I have copy and paste my promotion of them in your reply so everyone can see! 2. I'm not an FA now, I used to be an IFA, USED TO BE. you really don't understand tenses? That's how I know that you're wrong when you said that I "could never be an FA anywhere"!
