  1. I never get one single ad. Can't tell you why, though.
  2. Available right now for online delivery, just ordered one.
  3. Not haters but Truth Tellers. There you go, the first of the completely irrational posters.
  4. With which he has been charged... "The South Bangkok court accepted charges of drunk driving..."
  5. I’ve had a jolly good laugh at seeing your facile comment eviscerated by Richard Smith and which saved me the job of compiling a similar reply. " If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck ,it probably is a duck " I'm glad that it amused you. Do you have any information about the actual blood/alcohol test that you can share or are you just posting, to use your words, another facile comment for the sake of it? And I think you need to look up the meaning of "eviscerate" as he sure didn't anywhere near do that.
  6. Did your uncle ever consider the investment aspect of his Timex, i.e. none, versus the future value of Rolex watches? Many do and the chances of a Rolex "breaking" are fairly remote.
  7. The haters will be here shortly ranting abut him being a rich Thai so deserves to lose it and demanding to know how he could afford it and whether he's paid tax on all his assets. There will probably be at least one suggesting that the Rolex was a fake and that it's all an insurance fraud. Fill yer boots!
  8. That's exactly what I have posted, they're lucky. That situation can alter at any time the banks' decide to fully implement their own UK residency regulations.
  9. I am sure you do. Not. I do. I know is that the vast majority, if not all, registered, licenced and regulated insurers are trustworthy regarding claims. If they weren't they wouldn't be able to remain in business for long. What I also know is that there are many claims made by policy holders who are decidedly not trustworthy and it is those people who cause insurers to examine the veracity of every claim in order to avoid paying fraudsters.
  10. So no bicycles allowed, yeh right. Different classification of vehicles. You're not suggesting that all bicycles are illegal if used on the roads, are you?
  11. "Pad.Tr. Bin Samui monitors the progress of the international school teacher case. Child pornography After the staff investigated the summary of the idioms With an opinion, ordered the prosecution Send to the prosecutor for consideration On 11 m.C. Gen.T.Teacher.Surchin broke the secondary bully.Tr. To inform the council investigation staff.Phut Phut.Chu.Surat Thani prosecuted an international school teacher. Allegedly being indecent by the teacher many times
  12. sorry, but that is not correct. All UK banks require applicants for new accounts to be UK residents. If that is incorrect, please advise which UK banks will open accounts for non-UK residents remotely.
  13. Revolut is "not available in your region" - Thailand. The first requirement from Starling is a UK phone number.
  14. From your link... Apply for our Current Account You must: be 18 years of age or older be a UK resident
  15. Officially, it is a requirement. Long-established accounts may get away with it but that can change at any time at the bank's whim. Try to open a new UK bank account without a UK address and see how far you get.
  16. Officially, all UK banks' regulation require their account holders to be UK resident. Some get away with it, some don't.
  17. "It appears that now without a UK address I can not have a UK bank account any more..." What you are posting does not make sense, Barclays, Guernsey is not a UK bank, it is an offshore bank and an offshore bank would not need to close your account solely because you do not have a UK address.
  18. You've been lucky, so far, but your bank could, unilaterally, change that situation at any time. Call them and tell them specifically that you have not been UK resident since 2005 and that do not have a genuine UK address of your own and see what their reaction is.
