    Yes, that's the only option (credit card also is acceptable, I believe). Coincidentally, I asked them again today just in case their policy had changed since I last asked a few months ago.

    The reason that it is in Thai only is because it doesn't yet apply for foreigners. I received the email a couple of weeks ago and called them to get it re-sent in English as I suspected it to be in connection with facial recognition, I was told not to worry about it as it was directed at Thai customers only , for the time being, and they weren't sending an English version out.

    Cell accommodation has toilet facilities, they don't have to hold it from the 4pm lock up to 6am next day!
