  1. She could be charged also, if she is located, what she did contravened Thai laws.
  2. Do you understand that leaving cooked food hanging around unprotected is not the same as dry-aging meat.
  3. ...and dashes. Quite a few posters seem to have problems with "sticking keys"!
  4. Really? Name one travel insurance provider that excludes cover when any amount of alcohol, regardless of how little, has been consumed.
  5. Very slow today Lou , its page 3 ..... regards Worgeordie Page 3, yes, I was looking for the tits!
  6. "...that God created everything, which makes more sense than a Big Bang..." No, that does not "make more sense" pragmatically or as a sweeping generalism, it only makes sense to you and your fellow believers and that there may be billions of them doesn't mean that they are correct.
  7. "That's what we believe". "We"? Huh? Speak for yourself.
  8. No it wouldn't. If you were drunk sitting in a roadside bar which a car ran into injuring you there would be no contributory factor. The insurer would have no grounds to reject the claim and the ombudsman would rule as such Very obviously, my comment was made in the context of this OP in particular, not your unlikely scenario. If, however, you're happy believing that being pissed out of one's mind, in the circumstances that you dreamt up, wouldn't be a cause for a serious investigation by the pissed's insurer, you carry on.
  9. (clutches pearls) looks around nervously.... I imagine you do.
  10. Why? Assuming that the insurer's decision was justified (and there is no reason to suspect that it wasn't justified in this case, or any others recently) how could naming a company that denied a claim for a valid reason possibly be of benefit to anyone? There are no insurers that make exceptions to the excessive consumption of alcohol conditions, they all have the same clauses in their policies, so, if your intent by naming the company would be to dissuade people from using that company based solely on what has been reported in this case, in favour of other insurers, that would be a complete waste of everyone's time.
  11. Agree! Take great care agreeing with me in writing, some members will put you on their "Ignore" list for that crime!
  12. Drinking alcohol in a private apartment won't invalidate your insurance - if it was shown to be to the extant it incapacitated the persom they might question it. I didn't say that just drinking alcohol (anywhere) invalidates policies, I said that excessive consumption leading to self-contributory claims is what voids the policy. If the policy holder doesn't make a claim, insurers don't give a toss how much their policy holders drink as long as a claim isn't the result of it.
  13. There's no need for you to have to explain anything to me, I understood what your comment meant, it wasn't difficult. It was you who apparently didn't understand the accuracy of my response to it using your own words. What you do on the forum regarding "mute" or "Ignore" means nothing to me, I do not care, but I will point out, once again, that my having a different view to others here and expressing it is not "attacking" those people, it's called having an opinion or, perhaps, exposing inaccuracies, inaccuracies that sometimes appear to be deliberately fallacious. It's odd that you consider that comments such as those "add something" to the conversation. It's also odd that you consider humour to be a requirement of posts and, as regards "originality", that it something that most posters seem to keep well away from.
  14. Quite right, there are no prizes for any posts (or emojis received) on this forum, "Likes" and anonymous emojis mean absolutely nothing...except to the over-sensitive.
  15. They can't, obviously, but many posters' opinions are presented by them as facts, that's where they go wrong.
  16. ..or their use of that emoji can mean "What the 'uck are you going on about?" as some posters "do not comprehend complex thoughts concerning instances of opposition between different concepts or aspects of something. Some lack reading comprehension skill and life experience. Or they are just dullards", to use your words. That applies to many posts seen here that receive the emoji!
  17. I like Lou! He's a sweetheart.
  18. Ain`t we on here lucky to know someone who is perfect........ Indeed you are.
  19. You are quite right on the alcohol over consumption, but it would also have to be a clear contributory cause. I know, that's what I said. Just being over the policy's prescribed blood/alcohol limit is all the insurer needs for the policy to be voided.
  20. Perhaps the family knows nothing about it and came to aid their son. Well, the family have been informed by the insurer that the policy was voided so it's more than likely that they were also told the reason for that.
  21. On which occasions did he commandeer the plane as his own? How do you have that information?
  22. It certainly hosts a lot of members who do not read the rules, whereyougo.
  23. If that can be done. But you do seem to have it all in hand, so, as I said, you're laughing, absolutely nothing to worry about.
