  1. Where in Bangkok were these checkpoints and at what times?
  2. I'm sorry but if, by now, you don't understand the point I'm trying to make I don't think anything I say can help you. I don't need your "help"!
  3. Which is obvious and pointless. Also factual and relevant to your "argument".
  4. Really? Have you had access to read the contract in English and in full? I don't need to see individual contracts, these types of specialised equipment acquisitions always come with whatever is needed to operate the equipment and maintain it and specialised training for the operators. Your contrary assumption that they do not re F-35s is ridiculous.
  5. I didn't say that they are more professional/less corrupt, I said that they are not involved in each others' equipment purchases, which is factual.
  6. "...the crime restriction is contrary to freedom of speech..." It's not law, it was a recommendation or direction for the police. It's not a "crime restriction" [sic], either.
  7. So why the presumption that there was sound reasoning behind the attempted purchase of TWO (2) F-35 fighters when the Thai Armed Forces have on many occasions shown that sound reasoning is not necessarily what drives their decision making? "...why the presumption that there was sound reasoning..." Here's one, the RTAF was not involved in the acquisition of the RTN's aircraft carrier and the RTN brass are not involved in the RTAF's aircraft purchases.
  8. Not at all, but those who make the claims are the ones who are obligated to provide the proof of their claims, not those who dispute the claims.
  9. Not necessarily. ...but every contract such as this potential purchase does have those inclusions, obviously.
  10. Do you LL? No, but then I wasn't suggesting that I knew what would be supplied to the RTAF as the poster to whom I responded suggested did.
  11. I'm glad that I'm being appreciated. Consider yourself honoured.
  12. Cost If the cost was a prohibitive obstacle they, obviously, wouldn't be going ahead with the proposal.
  13. Apparently not... F-35 Joint Strike Fighter: $41,986/hourhttps://www.popularmechanics.com/military/aviation/a41956551/cost-per-hour-to-fly-us-military-aircraft/
  14. That'd be all part of any sale package...obviously.
  15. No one has said that there was sound reasoning behind that (irrelevant to this F-35 thread) acquisition.
  16. He's not. Even if he was, being in the minority here is not a bad place to be.
  17. Really? You know the terms of the proposed contract?
  18. Obviously, if the purchase goes ahead, the aircraft will be supplied with whatever systems are necessary for them to operate.
  19. Something that shouldn't be concerning you unless you're involved in the RTAF budgeting programme.
  20. You do know that there are Ukrainians here also, yes, and that Thailand isn't bringing any of the Russians here, they're all here voluntarily, same as Ukrainian visitors?
