Looks like you do to sunshine posting unfactual garbage like that or perhaps your googling skills are lacking No, there have not been "thousands of reports, with evidence", of Thai government scams enticing tourists following Covid restrictions. That is factual. Hearsay on forums such as this is not factual. Perhaps your knowledge of what "thousands" and "factual" mean is lacking.

"No Driver's License". Where was that stated? -
Complete nonsense if bought from normal pharmacies. Fakes are usually sold on the streets, there is no reason for real pharmacists to sell the fakes.

Tourists ignore Songkran water-fight ban on Bangkok’s Khaosan Road
Liverpool Lou replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
"At the moment" being after the event , therefore irrelevant. Just as your previous post was. There are places in Thailand that, in normal circumstances, celebrate Songkran a week or so after the official dates. So much for your "after the event, therefore irrelevant" comment. -
With the exception of the go-go bars (?) and clubs almost everything else is open in the Sukhumvit 4, 8, 11, 13. As far as illegal opening hours are concerned I can't help you.

No, it's gone. Moved to the Charoen Krung area under the highway... 72/2 Soi Charoen Krung 49, Bangkok 10500. Phone: 082 689 2277 and, four weeks ago, very disappointing in terms of space (two tables downstairs), atmosphere (none) and character (none) that Madrid was known for. On the plus side the Madrid breakfast is exactly the same as it always was.

Tourists ignore Songkran water-fight ban on Bangkok’s Khaosan Road
Liverpool Lou replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Of course. ALL tourists are English speaking. avid press readers and advertised. organised events are never cancelled at short-notice either. But subject to confiscation Given that there is next to no water fighting anywhere in Thailand at the moment except at a couple of places that were toId to stop, I doubt that any tourist is not aware of the ban, regardless of their language. Which officially organised Songkran water fight events were cancelled at short notice? Water guns are not subject to confiscation unless they're being used for illegal water fights, perhaps. -

The Songkran/Covid regulations have been clearly stated in the English-language press and they do not "change on a daily basis". -

Contrary to so many members' assumptions that Asean Now is the most talked about, well-reputed place on the internet, it isn't. There are relatively few people who are Asean Now members, or who are even aware of its existence, so the petition's impact here really will be insignificant (as much as I support it and the OP and have signed it). 100,000 signatures are required before it would even be debated in parliament.
