I didn't realise how long it takes - 2 or 3 days, but that's working days (more precisely, days that Immigration is working). Today was the 6th day of my 7-day grace period (Immigration counts it as the 7th day and I had to report by today). Reporting Friday afternoon obviously didn't work. Nice trip to CW. As always, 90 days report online didn't work for me. The reasons were different every time. I will try next time.

That's a lot more honest than many other countries publishing numbers that have not much to do with reality, because so many people use ATK and just self-isolate for a while (some don't even do that). These people obviously don't appear in any statistics. In many countries, they are the vast majority of infected people. Good description of Koh Tao, Koh Lipe and to some degree, Samui. But when you continue "to take care of the tourists" - no, there are Burmese for that. Not many tourists on Koh Tao ever interact with a Thai. Certainly safer for the tourists this way.

Tourists don't go much to Bangkok anymore, long time already. Fly directly to the beaches. In related news: Qatar airways will fly to Phuket 3 times daily (today's Bangkok Post) Phukets tourist numbers are 50% higher than pre-covid.

Didn't know that Shenyang or Dongguan are tourist attractions, though...
