Trump has no real core political values. He is greedy, selfish, bigoted, narcissistic and basically amoral, but politically he is an opportunist, not a real committed conservative. Those who expect him to be a right-wing savoir will probably be just as disappointed as those who dread him being a right-wing dictator! It will be interesting to see what he does during the next four years, but is suspect that his second term in office will be just as chaotic as his first term was.

I notice a couple of posters referring to the 'school management' helping to deal with the problem student. Traditionally in Thai schools, discipline begins and ends with the teacher in the classroom. The school administration would not appreciate being asked to deal with an undisciplined student nor would they really have any experience in doing so! The western system of detention, probation, suspension and ultimately expulsion is unknown here.

So here is the answer. Like it or not, we will see massive amounts of immigration from the blue countries to the the tan colored countries. Obviously some tan countries are more desirable in the eyes of potential immigrants, but when push comes to shove, immigrants escaping from the overcrowded hell-holes will settle on the countries that they view as second rate!

We are all waiting for clarity on this issue, but I am going to go out on a limb and say that clarity will not come any time soon. In the first quarter of next year we will probably see one Revenue Office interpreting the rules one way and the office in the next district interpreting them another way! It seems that every new car my neighbors buy is a BYD or a GWM product. It's not surprising to see the Japanese/Thai car companies shutting down.

I had some trouble with that one, but passed on the second try. The machine that I used didn't show the same red-yellow-green colors that traffic lights use, instead they had a sort of orange and then two different shades of green! Once I figured out which green was supposed to be yellow, I had no problems.

This is the key to the whole incident and explains the police inactivity. His family is rich and probably well connected. The police will do nothing to offend them. Rich families usually have a couple of people in business, maybe a politician or two and some high ranking police all as family members who work together.

The 538 results are based on averaged polling numbers from a wide variety of sources. The current numbers are 52% to 48% in favor of Biden, but they change all the time. Here is a graph showing the numbers over time. I am going to stick with my previous guess: Biden will win the popular vote, probably by at least 500,00 votes, but Trump will will the Electoral Vote.

It's interesting that the European 'Right' is pretty closely aligned with US Democrats in the positions mentioned above. They really only differ in their views on immigration. The US right wing, on the other hand, fits the description above perfectly!

If you have an advanced degree in a specialized subject that is in demand here, you can get excellent pay and working conditions. I had a friend with a MA in Hotel Management who was very happy and well-paid at his university. However, for a standard English teacher with no special qualifications, you are better off teaching younger students.
