Went there many a time at 6 PM and sat in the food courts having a feed and at 6 PM all the Thais stood up and remained still for the National anthem , as did many of the Foreigners , there were a few times when some "rebellious" foreigners remained seated and just continued eating and ignored the National Anthem all all those around him/her. 500 people all standing and remaining still for one minute , and they just continued eating sitting down *Not my Country , not my whatever " . I did go over and speak to them a few times , telling to them either stand up or go back home

No one is opposed to people coming to work in the U.K , but with the amount of people coming from Europe (six-ten million) to work, I just think there should be some restrictions in place , like needing a visa and things , rather than ten million people all freely steaming into the UK

It would depend on what contract he has and what it says . I doubt that he signed a tenancy agreement and thus wouldn't need to be evicted by a Court . He probably has a contract that is similar to a hotel room contract

Just to point out the the construction industry is the largest industry in the U.K and employs some two million people , so its not surprising that a few construction industry workers post on these forums . The annoyance was that they worked cheaper (whether they were better is debatable , cheaper is better for some people) , cut costs by five people living an a one bedroom flat , worked six days a week including holidays and had a fish and a loaf of bread for lunch and with that cheap lifestyle , they were able to undercut a British worker who had a mortgage , family etc .
