  1. He just wants to book a room for a few nights , he doesn't want to buy the hotel or book all the rooms for eternity
  2. Yes, there are now more jobs now available for British people , young British school leavers now have job opportunities , a constant stream of cheap E.E labour is no longer an option for employers offering unfavourable conditions
  3. I agreed with what you said , and now you have posted a link to show that what you said isn't true ??????? "Completely untrue. https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/how-much-legislation-comes-from-europe/"
  4. Its not immigration that was the issue , it was the number of immigrants and with no control of the amount . Six million E.U citizens applied to stay in the U.K post Brexit and add the people who didn't apply and those from other Countries , there would have been about ten million immigrants living in the U.K in a population of about 60 million people . Immigration needed to be controlled , rather than having 500 million people potentially deciding to go and live in the UK . Families of six showing up and going straight to the top of the list for council accommodation , schools where the majority of kids couldn't speak English and things like that , even jobs where you were required to speak Polish to get the job and you had to apply for the job in Warsaw
  5. From my experience : A single mother with two young kids was given a room in a hostel in a rough part of town and she had to check in daily to keep that room and it was over an hours journey to her kids school . Another single mother with four kids was given an emergency two bedroom flat and put on the list for a council flat and its estimated that it would be a good few years before she would get close to the top of the list . By that time her kids will be grown up and she would lose her edibility or move down the list . A married working couple would stand little chance of getting a council flat (in London)
  6. What is the situation like with council accommodation in the North of UK ? In London you would be given a room in a hostel to live in and be put on the list for a council flat , a list which would take many years to actually get an offer of a flat , quite likely your kids will be adults before you reach the top of the list
  7. Yes, if the U.K wanted to make a new legislation , we would need rest of the E.Us agreement before we could proceed , we couldn't make our own legislations .
  8. Labour leader K.S is trying to get back all the previous Labour supporters who converted to Conservative at the last elections because Labour refused to act upon the will of the people . He's reassuring floating voters that voting Labour isn't a vote to re-join the E.U
  9. There was a whole lot more to Brexit than just the economy . People didn't vote on the sole basis of what would make the UK richer and be better for the economy . There were a whole lot of other aspects involved
  10. Not quite , take the aviation industry and the airport workers . Many of the people who worked at airports were layed off because of Covid , as there were no flights they lost their jobs . When flights resumed, airports had difficulty in getting staff because the airport workers had found other jobs. The same can be said about hotels and the service industry , staff got laid off because of the Covid lock downs and they now find it difficult to recruit staff . Eastern Europe is also a lot more prosperous these days and many workers went back to their own Country because of better opportunities there
  11. We are getting close to the truth , but not quite there yet . No one was forced (the hand) to leave the U.K Anyone who did leave , left of their own free will and they could have stayed if they wanted to
  12. They are the Saudis , it is being build by Saudi Arabia in Saudi Arabia and Westerners haven't been invited and aren't welcome to live there
  13. Its an undeniable fact they both Covid and the Ukraine was has had an effect on the Worlds/UK's economy
  14. OK, I must have been wrong , I thought that you meant that All the EU workers were forced to leave when you said that All the EU workers were forced to leave , seems I interpreted it wrong and you meant something else ................................
  15. That was the point that I was making
  16. No need to be condescending . You made the claim that "all E.U workers were forced to leave the U.K ." after the Brexit vote . You implied that the U.K Gov forced all the E.U workers out from the U.K after Brexit . The truth and reality is that no one was forced out from the U.K and all the E.U workers in the UK were given visas to stay and remain in the UK . No one was forced to leave the UK
  17. What would the current GBP/Baht exchange rate had been if the UK would have stayed in the E.U ?
  18. It was a bit of humour , like going off topic on forums . Like going off route ............................. never mind
  19. The Pound has risen by about 20 % (against the Baht) in the last few years , it got down to 37 a few years ago
  20. You did acknowledge that no one was forced to leave the U.K and that anyone who left, left of their own accord . We are still waiting for you to name the two people who you claim were forced to leave the U.K and the reasons why they were forced and who forced them
  21. I have my suspicions that you are from an E.U Country and you want the UK to re-join again because it is a benefit to your own Country and the UK re-joining will mean Germany is less dominant ? You want to UK to rejoin because it will benefit you ?
  22. Well of course there is . You can park motorbikes in any place
  23. Oh I see . You want the U.K to join the E.U again ? Are you a E.U citizen ? What Country are you from ?
  24. ......................until you realise that you just got 3 balls and only won a tenner
