  1. My point was that she wasn't able to keep the money for her own personal use and that is why she donated the money . Now, I haven't changed my mind about that or tried to walk back from that
  2. But they , you know, had a good time, know what I mean, nudge nudge wink wink , they you know , errrmm , had a bit of the other , they errmm hows your father wink wink , you know
  3. Do stop being so condescending , its rude . My replay also wasn't nonsense because I agree with you that she could have donated the money to any charity she wanted , my point was that she couldn't keep the money for herself for her personal use and so she had to donate the prize money
  4. Yes, but she won the prize money BEFORE she set up her charity and she couldn't donate the money to a charity that didn't exist
  5. The other winners used the money for further their cause , they didn't keep the money for themselves , the subsequent winners used the money for projects in Africa . Point is the money isn't supposed to be kept for the winner to spend on what they want , its meant to be used to further their cause
  6. She was the first winner of that prize , there were no previous winners
  7. You are allowed to say sex , "they had sex" . No need to be shy and coy about saying it
  8. "The prize should be used in a way that maximizes the valuable contribution of the winning person/organisation." The prize money isn't expected to be kept for personal use
  9. No I didn't heres the bit that you deleted or failed to add Are there requirements on how the award money should be spent? The prize should be used in a way that maximizes the valuable contribution of the winning person/organisation. Must the winner sign an agreement laying out the terms of the prize? Yes, the winner will be asked to sign an agreement laying out the terms of the prize. https://gulbenkian.pt/en/the-foundation/gulbenkian-prize-for-humanity/frequently-asked-questions/
  10. The 1 Million prize money was awarded to her on the understanding that it would be used to help further her cause , she wasn't expected to personally keep the money . The prize money is given to a person to help them continue with the cause that they were nominated for . She had to (sign) agree to donate the prize money before she was able to receive it
  11. She has the opinion that the human race will become extinct soon , so its understandably that she doesn't want to get a job or study or anything like that , in her opinion, she is the last of the Human race and we will all be dead soon and no longer exist
  12. I have tried to reach out to you and resolve this issue , but you have ignored all my attempts at a reconciliation , I have requested that you retract the allegation, but you have refused to do so . So it remains in record that you accuse me of being a "flat out racist " on the grounds that I like a statue of Martin Luther King . I appreciate the artistic value of a new statue of MLK and in your opinion, that makes me a racist . You had every opportunity to retract that accusation , but as of now, it still stands
  13. What about Greta , is She a scientist ?
  14. She seems to struggle to answer questions here and shows a lack of knowledge on the subject ,
  15. I cannot see the image , but was it just solely middle aged men in the audience ? There was no one other that middle aged men ? If there are any middle aged females there , do they get a free pass and are immune to any criticism ?
  16. I have no idea who attended the conference , that is what I am asking . I was just pointing out that the poster didn't condemn ALL the conference attendees , just the middle aged men who attended . That is rather discriminatory from a poster who accuses others of discrimination
  17. Could you give a break down on the audience attendees stating their age and gender (to back up your claim)?
  18. And you are singling out and attacking "middle aged men" ? Why focus on males of a certain age ? There were numerous people there from numerous different age groups and from numerous different genders , why are you singling out "middle aged males" whilst at the same time accusing me of misogynism ?
  19. This thread is about Greta and I am commenting about her and if you would have read all my posts you would have seen this which I posted "Yes, they could have all done the meeting online" so your claim about me not criticising the event is inaccurate
  20. I really do think that the story headline should have included the words "plane landed safely" , as I was concerned that a Airplane could be about to crash or had disappeared from radar
  21. OK, Jeremy Clarkson is a sweetie , happy now ?
  22. They can broadcast the video conference on television , same as they did with the actual live conference
  23. Now stop being silly , I don't hate females , her gender is irrelevant . Another one of those "If you disagree with a persons action then you must hate their race/gender/sexuality and so you must agree with anyone who is not the same as you or youre racist/misogynistic ect"
  24. Yes, they could have all done the meeting online
  25. She could have given her speech from home online and it would have looked the same as when she was there .
