Around 30000 is price I heard for average ceremony. The after party is as much as you want to waste . Wife cremated her dad and was less than 80000 all in including food etc at house. But then 3 years later when they put him in one of the mini temple things at the wat she had live music show , buying the mini wat the remains go in , food and other bits. It started off at around 200,000 and ended up near 400,000 🙈 What happened was she sent out all the envelopes that people get and put money in and then they come to eat etc. The thing went on for 2-3 days of people basically coming to eat and drink and she had to buy loads more food and drink instead of turning people away . Then because her mother lives in a large house and her daughter is married to a farang , then instead of the usual 500bht people put in envelope they all put 1-300bht as they thought she doesn't need money as she is married to a ATM. Sorry farang I meant 🤑🤑🤑

Sent money this morning at 6.30am from UK and said would be 18 mins , it arrived 2 minutes later. I know if I was to send same in afternoon it would probably take a few hours. Just luck at certain times but I find if always send first thing in morning it's instant apart from weekend.

There are literally whole areas in the UK where a lot of people speak little to no English. See it on the UK news a lot when they are interviewing people from these areas and they aren't speaking English. Most seem to be of Pakistani or Indian origin .
