I thought there was a building law you are only permitted to build after 30ft from the high tide line on any beach side ? So unless she was sitting in his garden basically then she should be on the beach when walking you would think.

True. I have flown in and out of samui several times in last 6 months and don't remember once paying below 5000bht for one way . I can fly bkk to Roi et which is similar distance for 1000bht one way.

Had this problem a few times and always seems to be flash express that do it. One delivery in last few months we called about it to lazada and they contacted the delivery guy or company. He turned up a hour later. Asked him why they always say we change delivery date when we haven’t and he said if they fail to deliver it on the date their company get fined by lazada for not delivering on time. Told us they get fined 2-3000 bht or something no matter what the order value is . Now I just wait knowing it will turn up next day usually.

I had informed them when booking and at check in the person at the desk even wrote it on my boarding pass !!

On a return trip from don muang to roi et with air asia I checked in and waited at the gate to board in my wheelchair which I use permanently due to being an amputee. As it got near boarding time I noticed people starting to go through and wondered why I hadn’t been taken to the plane as wheelchair users are usually first on and last off. I went to the desk and handed my boarding pass and passport and woman said ok thanks and returned it. I asked where was the aircraft assistance to help me board and she said we don’t have any !! The second person at the desk then said can you get on yourself ! I then made my way to the plane thinking there may be someone waiting to help me . Nobody was there when i arrived so I had to drag myself and chair into the plane and then hop to my seat a few rows back . When I got off in roi et I got my wife to go tell the air asia desk what had happened and ask for a person or number to call to complain. The desk said they don’t have one ! After several searches looking for a contact on the internet the nearest I found was a call number where you leave a message . That was 3 weeks ago and still not heard a word back from them !

Guess he misjudged the time he held onto his throw chute and by the time it pulled his main chute he was too low for the main chute to open and stop his fall. If he had been lucky he might have got snagged on one of the trees , but not to be .

Went to upgrade my Pc and ended up building a new one instead . Put intel i5-13400F LGA1700 in it and used ASUS B760M-PLUS WIFI D4 also. Power unit was Eva 750 GQ and for a cooler I used Ak400 zero dark fan. Most of parts I bought online from Jib and Advice computer shop. Case I chose a tsunami case which has one glass side and well ventilated at back and top with all buttons on the top.

Pretty sure like most who park in these places that there was absolutely nothing wrong with any of them ! They seemed all healthy while eating an ice-cream each before then all having a cigarette each. Then when done 2 of them got in the back and the driver got in the passenger door before sliding over to the driver seat. Probably embarrassed as I was sitting near them and my wife who was driving was staring at them after she got out of the car.

As a wheelchair user it always amazes me how many disabled people are in shops I go to yet I never actually see one inside . This parking was very special, done by 3 people with zero disability as I watched them come out and get into the car .

It said 3 grammes the other day ! That is over 30 grammes each between all the people in the car . Bang every one of them up for dealing !!

How did him going to hospital notify the police or did someone have the best memory ever in the hospital and recognise him ??

Yeah the first lot seem to have rented out loads of places knowing their fellow citizens will be following in a month or two and have no qualms charging them the earth to rent from them ????

In samui now there are several foreigners Russian and European and they are renting places from agents or owners and then subletting them for 2-3 times the price they would have cost to rent 1-2 year ago. Then the new p**s take they add on is agent fee (5000bht) and you will struggle to find one that charges electric at government rate . They are asking 6-10bht a unit of electric !!

Redmi note 10s or 11. Got 10s and then got wife one instead of her usual iphone choice. She loves how fast it is , large screen and that battery lasts ages and charges rapidly. Think I paid 5600 bht on lazada and not a thing to complain about with it and it’s very robust and not easy to break .

So why is estate agent or chef not a job reserved for Thais ? Most of the head chefs in hotels I see are not Thai and estate agents 90% of staff are European.

They can’t find something the size of a fire extinguisher , yet the Aussies found something the size of a pea in 300km of roadway !! ????????

At 26 I had an accident that put me using a chair every day since to get around. Before that I cycled, ran , walked up mountains or snowboarded just about every day. Now at 50 and having lived here for 15 years it is what it is and nothing will change that I need a chair. If you have someone to look after / help you , your mind still works fine and your eyes can still see the world around you then you are very lucky indeed. While kerbs here are less than ideal for wheelchair users there are places it is no problem, unfortunately you find these by trial and error . Toilet hunting can be a problem unless you can use a normal toilet by getting up and walking a few steps to use it , malls usually always have accessible toilets though just incase. There is no stigma to using a chair and even here people don’t stare at you if you use one . Any thoughts are usually in the users mind and soon disappear after few trips out in a chair . Unfortunately like most things in the world human bodies wear over time and it happens to us all . Just be glad for all the times you could walk around before , up mountains etc as some never get to experience that simple function that most take for granted . Looking for a chair you want as light as possible and that folds as small as possible. Some larger pharmacies sell them and on lazada you will find a few decent ones. Good luck and don’t forget to get a decent cushion for the chair also . ????????

???????????? Are they serious ? Im pretty sure most of the people I see on the roads with no helmets are Thai , the drivers in all the road accident videos wiping out groups of people sitting in restaurants or driving on roads are Thai and as for driving license I’m sure a high number bought theirs or won it in a lucky bag ! But hey let’s target all the foreigners for all the trouble they cause ! ????????

I thought this had all been upgraded after the last storms that knocked the power out for a week in some places ? Might not need it if they put a stop to all the insane ugly buildings going up everywhere !!

Highly possible if he slit his jugular vein as he would bleed out quickly but the place would be sprayed with blood I imagine. Knew a guy who done it to himself while in the back of a car while being driven to hospital as he was feeling paranoid and needed to get to the psychiatric hospital to be treated.
