Nostalgia for Prayut Grows as "We Miss Loong Tu" Goes Viral
BE88 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Just one question you should answer where were you during the Covid epidemic period? From your answer you were certainly not in the west, so you did not see anything. As for Prayuth he managed the country like all past and current governments where corruption is the trademark of Thailand. -
You can find decent habitable houses in Japan for 10 to 20 million yen but I personally consider them modest and small, not to mention the very high house insurance and the cost of living much higher than in Thailand including taxes and if you then add that the Japanese language is very difficult to learn and that I would always be considered a foreigner with much more disdain than the Thais. So it is a completely negative solution.

Nostalgia for Prayut Grows as "We Miss Loong Tu" Goes Viral
BE88 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
If I have to give credit to Prayuth it is that he managed the Covid pandemic better, leaving the population freer instead of locking them up like in the West and like China and consequently a better economic strategy for Thailand. Now the current government due to inexperience and inability has carried out a series of desperate economic actions to try to revive the economy with the result a general chaos which, combined with the general economic situation, turns into a disaster in the country. No doubt that this government will be clearly defeated in the next elections despite the waste of government funds on the 10,000 B. which will still cause a chronic lack of government funds for essential services and certainly not an economic recovery and these billions spent will be totally inefficient because consumed for superfluous goods partly imported from China and others country. -

Buriram Woman Loses 530,000 Baht in Baffling Bank Transfers
BE88 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
No confidence in Thailand's banks. A international bank transfer was made recently to Thai bank but never received it and in response they promised to do a search that could take three months. I have strong doubts that I will ever receive the amount sent to me. -

Three American Bully dogs maul 70-year-old man to death
BE88 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
The owners are stupid and reckless, just look at where the dogs were locked up, no locks, just some electrical wires that can be assumed to have been well placed after the attack. And then everyone is surprised that these dogs kept in cages do not kill someone? What hypocrisy. -

Sad story, definitely a psychopath in the family, these things don't only happen in Thai families but in all families around the world where the father or mother is a psychopath. Racist comments should be deleted.

Why do Thai women actually love foreign men?
BE88 replied to Alpha84's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Women have a sixth sense for the future, they see that their country is governed like zombies and they look for a way out and a better future for their children. As simple as that. -

Expats angry at huge concessions in latest Thai visa announcements
BE88 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is now clear to everyone that this government is desperately trying to revive the economy in Thailand otherwise it will be defeated in the next elections so any action it takes could be the opposite of everything in a short time, therefore I do not give any credit that everything it decides is valid in long term and not even short term. Therefore I am only enslaving and organizing my money transfer to Thailand keeping it non-taxable while for the visa 0 maintaining it does not expose me to the rapid change of the unstable government and gives me a certain peace of mind.
