  1. It was probably the thought of going to Sydney that did it.
  2. Why? Its a self inflicted condition. They should be ashamed to be there, not you feeling sorry for them.
  3. for some of them, some of the time
  4. The US is living in the 1890s and its about time that they grew up before they kill more of their own people with their idiotic and illogical love of firearms.
  5. I'd rather do the leg thing,
  6. that has not been my experience.
  7. No, you don't. I haven't been 'inside' an Immigration office in 4 years. 90 dray reports at Jomtien are done outside that office in a covered area.
  8. The agents are now mandated to take the photo, there is no longer a requirement to visit Immigration if you use one of their 'dedicated' agents
  9. So what was 'freak' about that? Its an everyday occurrence on these roads. Very sorry for them both.
  10. Up to you mate. Its largely a myth that only people who don't meet the requirements use agents. All my friends use an agent and we all meet the reequipment's. We use agents to smooth the way and avoid immigration visits and IOs, that to me is well worth the money. No hassle, no stress, no faffing around with documentation and photo copies
  11. I have used ToT for a number of years now and I am very satisfied with the service.,
  12. A good agent, your passport, your bank book and 15,000 Bhat, It could not be easier.
  13. Apart from one brief trip to the UK 3 years ago, I have worn nothing but shorts for 8 years. I have no idea what condition my longer trousers are as I haven't opened the closest in years. One of the great pleasures' of living here is the freedom to feel free in tropical clothing. Jeans look ridiculous here on anyone over 23. Chinos less so, but only in Bangkok.
  14. Time to leave this subject , as it's going down the normal: it is, it isn't, it may be, it can't be, it will, it won't, it's all a big business conspiracy, road.
  15. God no, don't bring that self opinionated idiot into the conversation. Next you will be asking Bono to sing to people, a depressing experience at the best of times.
  16. I see that the UK have just had a week of temps over 30 degrees, reaching 34 at one point. They have also had serious floods in recent years, in areas that don't normally flood, so I think your assessment may be a bit off, probably because you have you holiday home in an odd location on the Island. Don't the Welsh hate holiday home owners?
  17. This time it may be the Bitcoin holders that get buggered.
  18. Bitcoin, and its like, is a confidence, almost a fantasy proposition. It has no intrinsic value and is not tied to any kind of financial measures that can give investors any kind of reassurance, in other words, its more of a gamble that a reality. While people think that it exists, then it does exist, The moment that they think that it doesn't exist, then it will disappear in a blaze of smoke and despair . It is impossible to predict its future, as normally accepted economic drivers do not seem to be an influence on value. even over a short period, it could rise to unprecedented levels on a wave of blind confidence and speculation, or it could just as easily disappear, almost over night. To me, its an unjustified gamble, a bit like derivatives, or spread betting. I would put them all in the same set. This is, of course, a very personal view.
  19. Hold on to the excitement, .all a bit premature, as nothing is decided for definite until its published in the Royal Gazette. Hold fast there.
  20. G/f, two small dogs and me, we all sleep in aircon, set at 24 degrees, Prefect for all of us.
  21. its neither of those things in my view. Being hot and sweaty is unhealthy. Studies suggest that the ideal temperature for sleeping is 20 degrees, Try that in LOS without aircon. Aircon is cheap in comparison to say heating in a temperate climate.
  22. OP, yes, they are all useless. Go to a hospital.
  23. Haha, joking right? Big C in Pattaya Central Road are selling them, in jars, next to some of the tills.
