Why no replies about "no money - no stay"??? That is the fact among so many foreigners completely disregard the law and the conditions of their stay here in Thailand. Abide the law or GO HOME.......

Yes my experience is exactly the same. One thai-doctor actually told me that overall thai-doctors are good with "inside-cancerous", because it is quite frequent here in Thailand, so they have become experienced. The opposite is for the outside cancerous-stuff, while thai rarely have skinn-cancer, yes they can withstand the sunshine much better than us falangs, they also have not much experience in dealing with it...

I feel that you need to understand first of all what is availible here in Thailand. For you guys coming here as tourists/short-timers like you, you need really to check things up, just like you do now..... Healthcare for me is based on the public hospitals here i.e. Chaiyaphum. Their prices are many hundred percent cheaper than the expensive private ones that you seems to be in love with. I paid as an example for removal of my gallbladder, including 3 days after-care at the hosital... totally 33.000 baht... BKK hospital in Khorat as well as St Mary´s in Khorat offered me 100.000 baht PLUS aftercare 3 days on top of that...... (30-40.000B) And when it comes to bloodtests, it is really NOT a good idea to use BKK hospital for bloodtests.... Why not do like I do, google up private labs, they are all over the place and go there, they are really cheap in comparizon..... good luck....

i guys, I am very uncertain and need confirmation from you guys who knows this. I have a friend that needs to buy a Non Immigrant "O" (retired) single entry.... Is there a demand for insurance for that VISA? If so, I thought that Non Immigrant "O-A" was the only VISA with a insurance demand.... But has it changed?? thank you, glegolo (if you need to know - this concerns buying it in Sweden)

Unless he is on the road to apply in the end for an extension of stay based on either retirement or marriage, he will NOT be able to get a non immigrant O...

Of course, yes, my mom always took all the money and took charge of it. No problem there. I was more into it that if problem in sending money to wifey every month and risking taxes and stuff, send the money to your self, call it monthly living expensies and voila free. and then transfer it over to wife or let her access your own thai-account...

I have a friend that wishes to purchase this motorcycle HONDA ADV350 350CC. He is located in Isaan Chaiyaphum.. He is meeting obstacles all the time. Some Honda-dealers says it is not for sale, due to lack of production, som claims that there are some problem with this modell... And he is getting nowhere. He is willing to go everywhere in Thailand to get this motorcycle, so it doesn´t have to be in Chaiyaphum.... May I ask you guys here, do you have any information about this modell?? Or know where to go or contact, to may get on with this and successfully be able to buy one????? Thank you so much for any input....

Hello, May I ask you. Have you heard about how it works with Finnair and return tickets when people going here to Thailand from Sweden. I have a friend who will book now in September, he will live here for the next 8 months and also apply for a Extension based on marriage when he gets here.. He intends to come here with no VISA at all, but only the 30 days, and then do a so-called conversion.... The problem that might arise will be with the airline if he doesn't have a return ticket has. He intended to arrange with a return ticket for the month of May 2023 not sooner... So my question is simply, do you have a feeling or idea if Finnair will let him on board without him having a return ticket within the 30 days??? I am very happy for all input guys, thank you, glegolo
