THAT was a kind of ¤%¤%#"&% comment. If you ever were living here or leaving your "village", you would have noticed that the military actually have taken Thailand many steps forward in it´s development... Corruption immy was down a great deal as from 2014 when the military here stopped the upcoming civilwar..... And the building of the country has been fantastic.....

spidermike007 The desperados army goons will do anything within their power to avoid a free and fair election, where they will lose by a decisive margin. No doubt the election commission is as corrupt as the army. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So your view of a free and fair election is to hand out 10.000 baht to each voter, great opinion.... Maybe you should think things over a bit..... The desperado red party do whatever it takes to take power again, maybe they will start to shoot thai people like they did 2014 again???? No for me, of course if these corrupt offerings continue this election will be a place of joke and not a serios election...... For me, time since 2014 and onwards has been a great time for Thailand with great development and progress despite all this bull<deleted> on social media..

Ops, I nearly missunderstand you, considering the wording of "extending your Non Immigrant O-A"... So you did NOT at all extend that O-A..... That you can only do by passing the boarder.... What you have done is that you have made an extension of stay based on your period of stay/permission of stay.... Nothing else.....

Yes our soi is completely dog-free since 14 years back, and it was me that arranged that. It was surpricingly easy.... As soon as I saw a dog there a throw stones at them, not on them though... I did it frequently day after day and night after night and after a week about, no more dogs.... From time to time new generation of stray dogs come by and do not know about the stone-throwing, but they learn quickly.....

VISA for 5 year old child
glegolo18 replied to glegolo18's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thank you so much... -
A friend of mine married to a thai-lady who have a child from an earlier marriage. This child is only 5 year old and mom and the son have gone to Thailand (from Sweden) and entered on the swedish passport. Even though they both have passports from both Thailand and Sweden. I am wondering, and my question is therefore. If entered on swedish passport do the 5 year old have to have VISA? Child have stayed the 30 days with mother and mother returning to Sweden without the child. The 5 year old will stay another 2 month with the thai-father.... Will there be a problem with Immigration and VISA??... Can anybody help out here?? Thank you, glegolo

Finnish man accused by neighbours of insulting Thai people
glegolo18 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
You try to make it looks like a common thing that "thai" people attacks falang. And as an example you use a video of a gang of mobsters/criminels as evidence of that... I think that is just desperate reasoning from your side.... -
Finnish man accused by neighbours of insulting Thai people
glegolo18 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
"Interesting" comment really!!! (NOT)...... I have during my 15 years here now NEVER seen a thai attack a falang except 1 single time when this norwegian drunk falang was attacking his wife and thereafter himself was attacked by the neighbours, and that was OK, I think, he deserved that well.. Common occurence is strong words,. especially when you do not give any more explanation to it... If falang learn to NOT mingle or socialize with thai people outside family, and not publicly go out drunk as a wet cat, then we should be OK in most cases.... Finnish mean reaks drunkness and alcohol sorry to say, so my guess is that this finnish man was NOT innocent at all, as the wifey likes to show it.... -

This is a stupid and completely ignorant comment. Grow up and try to adapt to way of life here in Thailand, if you even living here, that is....

You speak of 2 completely different kind of expats. where 1 is the argumentative one (as you said) thinking he knows it all... And the other one is very often a complete novis, left everything to wifey and do not understand the process at all.. But I can tell you that there is a huge crowd of expats, knowing their way around Immigration and the rules, and are fully capable of performing an extension of stay based on retirement. I think that to achieve this level, you really need to show some interest and be part of the process, and not take the easy way out and sleep it out, and let old wifey take charge....
