Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Hmmm.... he should have been applying for a WP, as this is not a work prohibited, as Thais absolutely can´t teach people to drive. 😂 That was his only mistake!- 22 replies

Amazing how many nutters Thailand attract. This guy must be born without brain. I totally agree. Fine him 10-20k and send him directly to IDC Suan Plu without passing GO. -

Richard Burrows, Phuket's 'Peter Smith', faces 30 more charges
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Good for him. Now his last years in retirement is going to be great. However, I am sad he is arrested in the UK, as he probably done the same in Thailand. Would have been more appropriate with a Thai jail for his remaining years.- 93 replies

Tourists flee as tuk tuk leader threatens taxi driver
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
😂 So, I should see a tuk tuk driver as an authority? -
Yeah, I have expected he has a lot of imaginary friends already.

Yeah, 45k baht is not a problem. Not that it leaves much room for things, but just for living a fairly good life it will be enough for most people. I, on the other hand, could not do it as we had more from start and built a life around those possibilities. Examples are car payments 12k per month, private school for 2 kids and so on.

Top 3 Male Qualities That Thai Women Look For
Gottfrid replied to Alpha84's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
First, you might be one of the most one-track minded guy on this forum. Always a new topic about Thai girls. How many hours do you really spend thinking about all this? I will help you here, and make you initial post opening the topic a little bit more decent and not so discriminating. Thing that regular Thai women look for are (Not from the bar girls scene): Financial stability A loving and caring husband/partner Being spoiled with gifts Making a career in life Having children As you clearly can see, all the things above can be applied to women from any nation. After that, we have 5 useful things to remember about women in Thailand (Also here, it cut out your crap that is taken directly from the Thai bar scene and popular YouTube videos): Cultural differences Strong family ties Usually very traditional and include much religion in the traditions They expect you to learn their language as you wish to live in their country They are usually very caring and good with children That is only a few things that are real compared to your insults. I would be very happy, if you can refrain from starting more degrading and distorted posts about the women of Thailand. Instead of doing that, take your time look around you and learn something. Maybe even you will be able to see there are many other places in life to collect facts from. Not only the bar scene and dubious massage shops. -

Tourists flee as tuk tuk leader threatens taxi driver
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
What pick up areas? What regulations? I am pretty sure that is just made up fantasies because scared of competition. The tuk tuk drivers know very well that they are facing distinction because of behavior, prices and scams. Therefore they feel the need to occupy specific areas and push away all other options. Same like the sicko´s in Win-MC-gang! They just have to understand that it´s the customer that will chose the ride they want, and not the them forcing customers to chose what they don´t want. -
Thailand Influenza Outbreak: 14 Deaths and Over 180,000 Affected

So, it just seems like same as the yearly numbers. I would actually go that far, to say that only 14 deaths in a 6 month period is truly fantastic. -

Thai workers begin to return to Israel – Labour minister
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yeah, they actually pay really good for farm work in general. The median hourly salary for farm work in Israel is about 330 baht per hour. However, migrant workers probably get about 200 - 250 baht per hour. Despite that, it´s about 1600 - 2000 baht a day. Not many chances for that in Thailand. Of course it living expenses, that are mostly deducted from salary as the employer provide both shared living quarters and sometimes a meal per day. -
Thai Defence Budget Criticized for Lack of Modernisation Moves
Gottfrid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
😂 Yeah, instead that creates a lack of soldiers. 😉 However, looking at the photo neither modernization nor the amount of generals can teach them anything. Just look at the safety standards and rules of how to carry a weapon. Everyone is pointing in different directions. 😂 -
