    So, 8 comments so far, and none about the bad behavior of the foreigner. You members here are amazing! The guy is an a55h0le, and a scammer. He should be arrested and taken to court for judgement. A good outcome, would be deportation and ban for life.

    Sure, you know best. I just have 3 first hand experience of two cases with Thai friends and 1 case with a foreign friend. The outcome were exactly same, and as I explained, in all 3 cases. But thanks for giving me the facts Ralf.

    Unfortunately, you are trying to simplify the Thai law. In Thailand the law has two aspects. That is right or wrong and need and hurt. Many times the need and hurt part will take a higher value than right or wrong. So, the result will probably be that the Swiss guy needed to use the road to buy his medicine as he had difficulties walking that far. That will end up with a settlement where the driver of the car will have to pay up.

    Maybe not such a good fighter, and no students. Have to make up for it by cleaning toilets and selling water. As people can kill for 20 baht, I assume it´s enough if the water is no cold or an unflushed toilet to warrant the murder.

    Sure, it might be many. Including me. The thing I fail to understand, is why you think the posts are poor? If you know something and want to share, please go ahead and do. Everybody else might not want. That is our private decision. Please respect that.
