  1. And 3 quickly became 4. Maybe one is not popular.
  2. Think it´s time you took a good look in the mirror.
  3. Because you seem to be unaware.
  4. He might be, but many times his hands are tied. Also, the numbers are telling a grim story. However, it´s not easy to work against a negative trend. However, Thailand might look at it as positive, as it is and will be for international affairs and tourism.
  5. So, almost same as we post about everything here on AN, and you are one of us.
  6. Thailand can thank an incompetent central bank and too many military coups for this as well as human trafficking and high rate of criminal offences.
  7. At least we got a follow up of the outcome this time. Far to light sentence, but still a sentence. All this makes me wonder why the Red Bull heir stays in hiding for 10-15-20 years when he only could get 1-2 years and all good.
  8. And, another Ruskie getting sent away, Hurray!
  9. What? Do you mean flying without a ticket. That´s illegal.
  10. So, it took a Thai woman to try and help. All others just looked on and filmed.
  11. To even consider stating that the country has a neutral stance to what is happening in Myanmar is incredible.
  12. Hey Franklin, this is not the US.
  13. So, that would mean they qualify as anyone?
  14. So, in your opinion: Let everyone do what they want, and do not care about rules, laws nor safety for others.
  15. That´s a thing that only a Chinese would believe.
  16. Is that British or Australian? Anyway, it´s a really insane fantasy
  17. No, I did not cut short, as I delivered the real and original meaning. I also wrote in the post that excellent and very good was referring to the informal meaning.
  18. No, the word means exactly same today as it has always meant. The only thing that changed, are that people handle the language in the wrong way and just change it as they wish. After that it becomes a popular expression. Still, it´s only a word used in the wrong way.
  19. Been driving every day for over 20 years and nothing has happened. Sure, they drive in a different way, with a different mindset. That´s what you have to learn and adjust to, as you are in their country. You can't come here and expect everyone to drive like in the US, UK or like you want.
  20. Might that be an answer from Pattaya? When are you seeing your friends at the same round table as yesterday? The Knights of the Many Beers, right?
  21. Not to worry, later today the police and the whole RTP will go out in force to assure us that everything is above board and totally safe during Song Kran holiday.
  22. 28 years old, and never heard what a bank can do for people.
  23. Ooops! seems like you are not aware of much. I have been living in Thailand over 25 years by now. Have been single, partying around but now married and have 2 children. I never talked about how many years it is since it turned into a madhouse, and that is no excuse for destroying a fine, beautiful and respectful tradition. It´s still just overgrown children, that never woke from the teenage binge drinking phase that indulge in such mad activities. But, on the other hand, maybe you are one of them. Also, more about newbie. Do you have a clue about what the biggest newbie in Thailand is among foreigners coming here? It´s the ones that directly take to the bars, hanging out with hookers. After that find their friends in worn out expat wannabees that sits at the same bar year after year, drinking the same amount of beer and listening to the same music every day of their sorry life. Most of them, end up in Pattaya.
  24. I assumed, that was what you would say. It´s people like you that have xenophobia, as you believe that all people in a country is out for you, what you bad or coming for you. In reality, you sound like you are almost afraid of your own shadow. You probably also hear them talking behind your back, and children are pointing at you when you walk by, right?
  25. What you are referring to is the informal meaning of the word. That has been created because people have made it popular, or a trend, of using the word that way. It was never the intention or the original meaning. Below you have the original meaning of the word, that still rules and are right. adjective sick (adjective) · sicker (comparative adjective) · sickest (superlative adjective) affected by physical or mental illness: "nursing very sick children" · "half my staff were off sick" · "visiting the sick and the elderly" relating to those who are ill: "the company organized a sick fund for its workers" (of an organization, system, or society) suffering from serious problems: "the British economy remains sick" feeling nauseous and wanting to vomit: "he was starting to feel sick" · "Mark felt sick with fear" (of an emotion) so intense as to cause one to feel unwell or nauseous: "he had a sick fear of returning" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- However, I did not expect any other comment from you, as posts of this kind are your highest standard.
