  1. And here we have the reason. Time to hold the parents responsible
  2. And there we have it again! Lack of respect and no possibility to take responsibility.
  3. That guy was not very smart.
  4. Apparently, million of revelers have a different opinion.
  5. Wow, Richard! This time it took you about 3 weeks to post the same as you always do. I do not have any wet dreams, as my wife takes care of me soo good. No need for them, when you have reality instead. You should try it. Also good to know you thought you would find my post in this thread. You are starting to learn, and of course I would not like to disappoint you. I do not tar all with the same brush. The reality is that Brits and Russians are the ones who hit the news with most of the sick and stupid stuff. If your choice, is to be blind to that fact, that is entirely up to you. Very sorry if I made a dent in your patriotic ego. I assume that you as a Brit, must be very disappointed at your fellow countrymen. However, it´s is never a good thing trying to hide the very visible existence of the many bad apples that chose to move to or visit Thailand. What I am doing, is putting some light at the fact that Brits and Russians are leading the idiotic league.
  6. Nah, not stupid question at all. The bank will be obligated to inform the revenue department of foreign transactions to different accounts. After that there will be information about your time in Thailand from immigration according to the stamps in your passport. How they will manage to put all that together, is something I am not able to answer, though. ;-)
  7. Ok, so then it is like in my original post, then.
  8. Agreements? So, you are then referring to a tax treaty between the UK and Thailand, right? Beacause if there is none, then this little thing will go in to action: The Article dealing with income from immovable property gives the primary taxing rights to the country in which the property is situated. But the income is also taxable in the country of residence of the taxpayer.
  9. Irrelevant. Let the machines do that work. I will take a beer.
  10. I give up! Still depends on if there is a tax treaty between the country and Thailand as well as the OP´s length of stay in one calendar year.
  11. Hmmm.... ??? Think you should read up on things a little bit. I could just say, that´s what I posted, but you seem to not be aware of some things. If there is no tax treaty between Thailand and the country you are referring to, and the OP stays more than 180 days in Thailand during a calendar year then the sum earned and transferred to Thailand WILL be subject to Thai tax if the total amount earned reach the taxable income amount. As you posted it is 30k baht per month, which would total 360k in one calendar year. Then it will be subject for tax as the threshold is 150k baht, assuming you have no other deductions to make.
  12. You might just have a friend in the UK that can buy them for you and send. That would solve your problem.
  13. It depends what country it is. Is there a tax treaty? Does the OP live in Thailand more than 180 days in a calendar year?
  14. Please look below: Nah, I think you got that a bit wrong. Most of us are trying to say, it should not be a common thing to wear when bar hopping, like on Walking Street or in such places where risks of robbery are higher. But, of course, that´s only an advise and have nothing to do with any members economic situation.
  15. This is a no brainer. If the signs are there for Thai people, they can just remove them. None of them follow the instructions, rules or laws connected with them anyway.
  16. Yeah, or just a stupid comment from an unknowing member.
  17. Ops! I missed that one. Yeah, I know something was wrong, and it was me.
  18. And, in what country do you see a successful implementation of that?
  19. Of course the country needs proper driving education. However, there are soo much more. A driving education does not make all from hooligans and drug dealers/smugglers as well as purely stupid people drive better nor slower.
  20. So, no long metal sticks this time! Wow! They are truly evolving.
  21. Just nice to be in one of the 29 that is not listed.
  22. Everything points at that Small Cap Value Stocks is the right way to go, as they show the highest yield in percentage. Besides that, can all of us in Thailand that have wife´s we can trust, find good value in buying up land close around new housing projects. During many years that has shown to be a good investment as the price rises quicker due to the demand for shops and companies around housing areas.
