  1. Yes, all for money! No morals!
  2. Ok, you turned around that nicely. What in the world in my quote was referring to when time is up? By the way, thank you for the lesson about 2 rich guys.
  3. Never mind, man. You will not accept an explanation like that anyway. No more discussion needed. You right! Me wrong.
  4. As the thread is about rich friends it is all about money. My guess would be that he had enough money. Mostly relating to that his money was safe in the bank, which is not usual for a hedge fund manager where many suddenly lose everything in a couple of hours.
  5. Yeah, maybe a little bit different. As you describe it, here in Thailand it´s more free and you are not judged as hard on what you do or how you behave if you have money. However, I am trying to be a fairly good boy ;-) Nowadays, I am more relaxed then I was back home. Also, back home, I wouldn´t have been giving away and supporting as many people as I do here.
  6. Aaah! A Tinder date gone wrong.
  7. So, what are they going to do then? Let them sleep over in the bar?
  8. A good advice is to not drive to fast when you are unfamiliar with the route.
  9. No, not directly, but your way of posting creates the assumption and feeling that you do.
  10. A bunch of them. Don´t know who is the richest. Might be me, or might be anyone of them. We never talk about money, as there is never any need to do, nor do we talk about the things we own. Here it´s golf time, or football at Saturdays and Sundays. If anything, one of us might just mention, that we bought something and it was good, or bad.
  11. Soon to be read! Foreign man stranded for 11 days at airport, with no money to get home.
  12. Nothing like a fresh killing in the morning.
  13. Nothing unusual. Saw 2 accidents on beach road, while only visiting the city for 4 nights.
  14. Where did you buy all that? Pratunam?
  15. Apparently this topic was attractive to you as well.
  16. As the topic is posted in Chiang Mai.......Hmmmm... Yeah, there you have your answer.
  17. I would say, a was rather close to both. My father died before I had moved to Thailand, so I guess that hit a little bit harder. My mother became old and weak, after I moved to Thailand and died quite recently in the aftermath of having caught Covid. Anyway, she became over 90 years old, so lived a long life. Had more time to prepare for her death, so did not hit same hard.
  18. Yep, having such severe problem in the morning, I would also recommend that. ;-)
  19. Apparently you responded to this topic, as well as a few others so far. Bad morning? Take a chill pill, or a beer. Beer works for me.
  20. No, it´s a description for vibrant nightlife. How do you no that? are you the kidnapper?
