  1. Yours was a dynamite suggestion.... Both for me...and.... Anyone interested in birds.
  2. Please contact 3BB directly... And then... All might be much clearer. Don't try to contact AIS directly, is my suggestion, for what it might be worth.
  3. Wait... A lie? Please clarify....PDQ! Thank you.
  4. No worries. I am a serious person. But...I have never been a serous "pal". The term, "pal" is just not serious enough for me. I would prefer the term...."budding ornithologist", or similar. Still....a very good suggestion. I would seriously consider this. Thank you.
  5. Whatever time I spend on TV is done so, principally, because I enjoy this opportunity to speak tangentially, rather than directly, about anything. During my real life, I must always speak directly. Here on TV, I am able to speak tangentially. This is the real reason I post on TV. Now you know.
  6. Man, you don't have a clue. I am never bored. What do I do to avoid being bored? I spend most of my time saving the Chinese. (But, I do not save them like a missionary might.) No fing beach or gym for me....and....this is why....I am... Never bored.
  7. You crack me up. Most guys don't even know where McGill might be. So.... Months ago.... That was just a bit of irony, and not really a question.
  8. I once lived in Greenwich, by the way. Probably...before you were born.
  9. You have taken some beautiful bird photos. STUNNING. Where did you learn how to do this? Up on the eves on the Main Line?
  10. Just to qualify: Not only were we not served Poutine, but, Instead, in the 1970s, students were served up the worst tasteless slop that McGill could provide. The food was hygienic, but tasteless, the way the Canadians used to like it. If you were there, the same time as Steven Pinker was attending McGill, then you will remember.
  11. You NAILED it....(maybe)... It often starts singing at about 4 am, as you say. But, I have never actually seen it. Also, I have come to rather enjoy it. Just part of my love for the Thailand experience, I guess. The noise of the rooster is an abomination. The noise of the eastern Koel, (just taking your word for what it might be)...in no way....bothers me... Also, how do you know if it might not be a Western Koel, instead of an Eastern Koel? Also, any photos?
  12. Although I attended McGill for a time, in Montreal of course, I never had Poutine at the uni cafeteria. And, when I visited Quebec City, I never saw Poutine on the menu. Mostly, the students survived on cheese and wine. Also, if you could not speak French, most restaurants, at the time, would hesitate to serve you. In addition, when I stayed at the Hotel Frontenac.... Several times in the 1970s.... Poutine was not served. Don't know why...really.....
  13. Hopefully, 3BB will maintain its great service, just as it has always been. I expect that they will.
  14. Every year, about this time, one of the noisiest of birds arrives in Chiang Mai. This bird begins its calls about this time, or around 6:06AM. What does this bird actually look like? The reason I ask is that I have never actually SEEN this bird. I only HEAR this bird, making crazy calls every morning, from about now and for the next several weeks. This must be a migratory bird, since it does not stay long here where I live. When I first heard this bird, I thought it a bit annoying. And then, I began to think of it as being somewhat exotic. Now, I often ignore it, except, since I have never seen it, I just wonder.... What does it actually look like? And, do you love this bird, or hate it? And, have you ever photographed this bird? If you have a few photos of this bird, then would you please post them here? My thanks to you. Best regards, Gamma
  15. Try this machine, and call me in the morning. This machine can decrypt almost any medical bill. Try it.
  16. Maybe so... But, I have never had better service than with 3BB. Personally, I DO NOT care a twit about AIS. The only reason I now have AIS is due to the 3BB plan offering AIS. Whether or not AIS provides good service, I do not know. Yet, still, any mobile internet for my phone will be sufficient for me, since I will only use it at low speeds for my exercise app, and maybe, if I need, to make a call or two from my second phone. Let us be clear, however, that 3BB customer service, 3BB service technicians, 3BB internet, is the very best that can be had in Thailand, at extremely reasonable rates. I am no fanboy of any internet service...it is just that....I am...pleased as... Punch with 3BB.
  17. Right. People have tried, in the past, with limited success. I have been, by my very nature.... A slow learner.
  18. I think you might be referring to this documentary: No need to feel you need to teach me anything..... I am way ahead of you. After all, as I have often stated on this Forum.... I am a genius.... Although, I must say, Aristotle was smarter.... By a hair, or two.
  19. You may be correct. But, I thought that Carson grew up in Nebraska. Sorry for the misinformation, which was not intentional on my part. Again...sorry.... But, did Johnny grow up in Nebraska? Yes, I think he did. At age EIGHT.... So...just saying.... He is a product of Nebraska....folks....! Never, NEVER...second-guess the Gamma, Folks!
  20. You mean....for me...to be aboard...the next.... Mars Shot?
