Always check the markings on the side of the condenser unit, and calculate the EER of the unit...before moving in. The lower the EER, and if the landlord charges more than PEA rates, the more money in the pocket of the landlord. Maybe find a place without an AC, and then install your own, if you plan on being there for a while. You can always take it with you, when you move to a new place.

Dear Folks, There have been many Topics, from time to time, concerning various ways to rid one’s house of those very tiny Thailand ants which are truly ferocious, and legend. I am not interested in trying any “natural” solutions, the ones that are periodically offered up here on TV. Instead, I wish to buy the Top TWO commercially available ant-traps/ant-bait-containers that are most effective for the type of tiny ants that we see most often during the Raining Season. One problem with these ants is that they seem, collectively, powerful enough to dig into concrete, and other building materials, and leave chewed up sand and debris in little piles evident on the floor, on kitchen counters, and almost anywhere. So this is just sort of a Poll answerable by those who have tried various brands and types of commercially available stuff sold at major stores here in the North of Thailand, primarily CM, where some species of ants might be a bit different, and have different appetites, than ants in other parts of the land. Reading on Google’s AI section, I see these words, for example: In the past, it had always been my suspicion that these types of products, ant-bait products, might be suitable only for a very localized population of ants in the house. However, I see from googling Google AI that these products might be more effective than I had once thought. But now, the question is which TWO should I buy and try first. For sure, I have a HUGE ant problem. And so, this would be a very nice trial for evaluation of several of these products. I have had no insect exterminators come into my house, thus far. And therefore, any major improvement in my infestation situation should be directly attributable to the commercially available ant-bait products that I buy. So, any votes? I will buy in about a week, I guess, when the roads become more easily traveled, as the road flooding subsides. Let’s wait and see what happens. The ads and notifications of Alibaba ads on my phone was getting totally annoying. Still, this company deserves a NUKING....just for the mental anguish already caused to me, and many others, I imagine.

I have heard, from my long-time driver....that flooding in CM is particularly bad at this moment. How bad is it? Do you think the floods will subside by mid-October? I will begin my therapy soon as transportation improves. I have heard that the traffic now is horrendous....but I have not seen it....

I actually completely concur, and I say this after much close observation from afar. You see, here in Thailand, we are OUTSIDE the BUBBLE in which most Americans lead their daily lives. It's just the old concept of our Frog immersed in a slowly heating pot. Most of these changes that we easily recognize go largely unnoticed by the Average Crazy American. And...YES.....here in this Topic...I am NOT picking on Americans, per se. I only chose Americans as an example due to the fact that I am far more familiar with the underlying and pervasive changes in American society that are easier for me to see. For one thing, much of American culture is more easily visible to us, outside the US, due to institutions such as Hollywood, American social media, and American Ghetto Culture taking over the world. So, it's like this.....: a. Dress Sloppy b. Think Sloppy, too One can only wonder what's on this guy's so-called mind.... Not picking on any segment of the American population, either. I am just saying that we might choose better role models for all of us.
