The Phoenix symbolizes REBIRTH.... Mythically, or otherwise. Yes, I will be very interested in waiting and seeing. All the best, is what I wish for, of course.

Then, does this statement mean that the forum will become, once again, Thai Visa, and soar higher, and higher, like the mythical Phoenix?

Century-old heritage house on sale for 45 million baht in Bangkok
GammaGlobulin replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Yes, and I think it might be both difficult and expensive to heat in the winter, during the Cold Season here. The construction seems to lack insulation. -
Dear Friends, While watching this video, I hope we will all be reminded of the fact that we should practice tolerance for minor foibles and errors of judgment, especially when others' behavior causes no harm to us. This poor female Farang decided to have sex in the sea, by herself, resulting in arrest, and probably leading to her untimely death. How terrible it seems that our society can find nothing better to do than to point fingers at others when we have wooden beams protruding from our own eyes. I feel sorry for this young Farang female. ALSO, I am happy to be living in Thailand, once more, for this reason: If this woman had moved to Thailand before she was arrested, then she would have been most welcome on the beaches of Pattaya, free to have sex with herself in the sea, for all to see, and she might have even been able to support herself, financially, by doing so. So then, were the cops in Georgia wrong to treat this woman in such an unkind way? Don't you wish that you could go back in a time machine to speak to that woman and to invite her to come to Pattaya, a place that might truly welcome and accept her, with open arms? I do.... It's a Cruel World, and NOT a Cool World, the one in which we live....alas.... Regards, Gamma

Couple caught having sex in sea at Patong Beach in Phuket
GammaGlobulin replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
The same thing happened to me on the island of Guam in the ocean in front of the major tourist luxury waterfront hotel there. Simultaneously, a tourist boat went by for the evening sunset cruise. Of course, the onlookers did not bother me... because....you see... I am a rower, and I have rowed under the Strawberry Mansion Bridge in Philly, and up and down....up and down.... In the park along the river. Rowers, by their nature, do not get embarrassed, if in the water, by the in and out. You dip it in, and then you flick it out. Ask any cox about his rowers. He knows the right cadence to call out.... IN...... OUT...... IN...... OUT...... I have always loved rowing. -
Did you know this about 7-Eleven (Thailand)?
GammaGlobulin replied to george's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
I enjoy MSG, if not in huge amounts. Sugar is REQUIRED for great cooking of Thai food, and for Chinese food. If no sugar, then NG. A small amount of sugar, during cooking, is not harmful to most semi-healthy adults. But, the amount of sugar in ultra-processed manufactured food, such as that sold at convenience stores, especially the one originating from TEXAS....is too much. Texans just CANNOT say no to Double/Triple portions of ANYTHING. No Wonder 7-Eleven has done so well in Asia. By the way, Taiwan has about 5000 SEVEN stores with a population of around 20 million. So, maybe, Taiwan has more stores, compared to Thailand based on population. Also, 7-11s were introduced in Taiwan in 1979, which is also the year just after the USA broke formal relations with Taiwan, and also the year I first set foot on that stinking island. (Back then, Taiwan was a super NICE island. Now, though, it is a stinking island, just FYI.) -

Seems to sell... Ultra-processed foods. Having high sugar, fat, and sodium content. I will stick with real Thai food. -
In Japan, even these days, they don't allow you in the swimming pools, or the onsen, with tattoos. Especially with tattoos of rearing stallions on the thigh. Bad taste. Who looks like this, intentionally? This new breed has the mainstream Americans running scared. I am all for unconventional art, when art is a thing of beauty. But this, above? This tat just below the blue swim trunks? I have never heard of such a thing in all my born days. Give me an unconventional Jackson Pollock, any old day... Blue is fine. But it must be beautiful. In this instance, we seem to have Beauty and The Beast. This generation seems lost... No direction home. No worries. The pendulum will swing back, but... That tattoo may be difficult to remove.

Sorry, but this headline... Is... Idiotic. Penn State NEVER loses to Yale, simply because Penn State is NOT in the league. U. Penn is NOT Penn State! Also, the average IQ and SAT scores at that lousy school, Penn State, are GARBAGE. And, I guess you remember the scandal involving a coach at Penn State, not long ago. Please do not speak the Name University of Pennsylvania on the same Topic you mention that Garbage school, Penn State. U. Penn is GREAT, with nothing but genius students. Penn State, on the other hand, is....well.....just see for yourselves!!!!: Penn State, My ADZE! If you are wondering why Lia is said to be a student at U. Penn, the story is based on a news article in The Onion. This is a travesty. She should NOT be granted tenure on the U. Penn swimming team. https://www.thedp.com/article/2022/02/lia-thomas-penn-teammates-against-competing-update Lia should be either kicked off the U.Penn Team, or be allowed to tread water until she drowns, maybe...

If you are talking about using a heavy concrete polisher, which is what I would do, then here is a nice vid from Pennsylvania...

I really like this type of surface for floors. Highly polished concrete can wear well, and looks great, especially with wood furniture....I think. And, it seems quite utilitarian and low-maintenance for hot-humid climates where rugs and carpeting are less practical. As to how the concrete is polished, I think you will need a concrete polishing machine. But, of course, not every grated of concrete can be polished, according to my understanding. https://www.geminifloors.com/polished-concrete-floors/ Walls or floors, same diff, and it is the beauty of the surface that I find attractive. https://unugtp.is/how-to-polish-concrete-walls Great look! Especially for this climate.

I think not. Reason: I had a Colt 0.45 1911 Nickel Brush finish semi-automatic handgun manufactured by Colt in the very early 1970s, when I purchased it new. That was definitely a quality gun. Please check this schematic and compare it to that piece of Garbage in the news image. Then, you will probably see what I mean. ALSO, am I mistaken? Or, is it true that the Recoil Spring Plug is missing from the Pattaya weapon in question?

As I stated: a. Soy sauce is cheap and tasty b. Soy sauce is effective in replacing sodium lost through excessive sweating during physical exertion which lasts for more than an hour, or so. c. I have never felt the need to resort to those "power drinks", or electrolyte drinks, except just once when I had nothing else available.
