Are you being overly logical and overly analyzing this story? This is, simply stated, just another ethanol-fueled fiasco. One of the principle attractions of Pattaya, for tourists, is the mistaken perception that they will be permitted to run riot in Thailand without suffering justifiable repercussions. Someday, Thailand will shut down the bars which attract the riff raff. And then, the more-boorish of Russians will head to PNG, hopefully, where people may not treat them so kindly when they step out of line. May we live so long to see this day.

So, anyway, I am not too sure just why the death of Jeff Beck has affected me as it has. Maybe it is because I have, over many years, spent so much time listening to his music. Or, maybe it is because he was so suddenly struck down by what should have been, in the best of cases, a relatively easily curable illness. And, probably, it is because he was still going very strong, up until just a few weeks ago, it had seemed. So, anyway, about a day ago, I found a Blu-ray Disc (BD) copy of Beck's amazing performance at Ronnie Scott's, 2007, floating around on the internet ready for downloading. The file size is 38 GB. Maybe you can find it, too. I would happily purchase the very best recording of Beck's 2007 Ronnie Scott's performance...if I could find one. But, I cannot, so far. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_at_Ronnie_Scott's_(Jeff_Beck_album) Everybody has their own favorite recording of Jeff Beck's music. Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's is mine. Everybody, almost everybody, wonders what Hendrix might have done if he had lived longer. At least, Beck lived longer than Hendrix, but we wish he had lived at least another ten years. It's not so easy to find recordings of Beck playing Hendrix tunes. Have you ever wondered why? Beck could outplay Hendrix, but chose not to, maybe. So, anyway, download the 38 GB file, and you will not be disappointed. At the very least, this great recording will always remain in the cloud, Hopefully.

Somebody posting this tune to YT cut this song off at the hip, before it was done.... Such is life. Such is life that life presupposes death. Without death, there could be no life. Without death, there could be no evolution, Biologically speaking.
