If you get a business visa and open an account in Thailand, wouldn't you be paying taxes in Thailand? My accountant says if I stay overseas for a certain period, I'd technically have to pay taxes overseas but said other than that they aren't aware of taxes in Thailand as they only do Canadian taxes. Really curious as Canadian taxes are fairly high, around 50% of capital gains are taxable at 50% and short term gain are 100% are taxable at around 50%.

What's the tax you pay on long and short term capital gains on US equities in Thailand?

Is IT Laksi square immigration open tomorrow?
dj230 replied to dj230's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You know what was extremely odd was, the regular IO's weren't working today, I remember the person who accepted my application today and he wasn't an IO before, he used to check the papers before you went in the room at Muang thong thani, maybe I got lucky, no one in uniforms, very odd. He was always super nice too. -

I just handed it to them with the other papers but was a different IO and they just glanced at it but didn't mention anything about it or ask any questions -

Unfortunately I pay taxes in Canada so its high, I am self employed in Canada. I was thinking of eventually trying to pay taxes in Thailand, if I moved here permanently as it would be a significant discount. -

Cost to import luxury cars in Thailand?
dj230 replied to dj230's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
that’s unfortunate, is there a way to import into a neighbouring country and drive it in? -
we live in a day with onlyfans and instagram, I see nothing wrong with the vlogger, looks like he was just having fun but to each their own

Aren't the prices inflated around 300% already in Thailand though? So it doesn't matter if it's a resale vehicle vs personal vehicle, both subject to 300% taxes? -
At that point you could say someone from the village sees them in person at the bar and tells their family too Hard to blame the vlogger
-
I mean its not like family are watching videos of bars on YouTube all day looking for their child The rest of the bars seemed to not mind at all.

I was thinking of trading some BTC, at $5000-$15,000 BTC might actually not be that bad of a trade, I can see it going to mid $20,000's before next leg down, too bad my brokerage doesn't allow Canadians to trade bitcoin and now crypto stocks are too volatile. As long as corporations and big money is still "staking" crypto will keep going down as thats in their favour, of course if crypto goes out now, all the companies/corporations will go bankrupt so crypto market is actually going to blow up either way. You have people leveraged on both sides.

I got mine at bangkok hospital but they have it in some pharmacies as well. You can try Siam pharmacy in pleonchit, they have a line account and do shipping. I went there when I lived in bangkok and they’ve always were great. most big pharmacies I went to had androgel though

I lived in Bangkok for a bit, power outage was very rare maybe 5 time the whole year and only lasted a few minutes. Usually was said to be an issue with the transformer. Ap Thai and sansiri are the better developers, maybe try those condos if they have them in pattaya.

Nebido is a brand, it’s testosterone undecanote, the undecanoate is the ester which slows down the release of the testosterone overtime in your body. Nebido shot can work but all the testosterone clinics in USA usually use testosterone cypionate and testosterone enanthate is similar which they have in pharmacies for around 200baht (bayer brand 250mg/ml). The caveat is you have to take it weekly. Nebido claims one injection every 10-14 weeks but it’s undecanoate ester probably won’t last that long, I would guess it would last more like 8 weeks or less. 15,000 seems a bit steep but I’m not sure what clinics charge here. If you don’t live with a girl you can use androgel which is what I prefer to use, unfortunately I live with my girlfriend so I have to use testosterone enanthate. With androgel you just put some gel on your shoulders and the testosterone is absorbed through the skin. I forget the price in Thailand, I think like 3000 baht a month at pharmacies If I were you I’d have a clinch teach me to use testosterone enanthate injection or just use the gel.

Suspect claims he robbed gold shop to cover losses from crypto investments
dj230 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
50% depreciation on the mining machine isn’t really holding its value lol how long ago did you buy it? Interesting I was selling my gaming laptop online, some guy low balled me for it and said it was for crypto mining. I felt bad and said ok to the price. I told him and his wife that crypto was really risky and their answer was that they were born in Thailand with no opportunities so I could understand them taking a chance on crypto. Wonder how they’re doing. -
How much did you pay for this?

Am I missing something? If everyone just sends money to the name at the top and puts their name at the bottom, their name will never get to the top...?

I remember there being a museum near platinum fashion mall, I'm not a huge museum guy so I never went. When I lived there I would just go to Siam Paragon, ground floor has a lot of bakeries that seemed to be pretty good, basement has an aquarium and top floor has a bowling alley and movie theatre.
