I have been to Waritchapum (similar neck of the woods) a few of times to visit my GF's very extended family. It's okay for a few days as the family make us extremely welcome and there is a party every night. But there is F-All to do or see unless you like driving round endless farmland and paddy fields! She wanted me to buy her some land and build a house up there....Where have we heard that before??? We live on Samui and this is where I will stay until they take me out feet first! I don't normally ride Big Bikes as I live on Samui as there are few places where you can go at a decent speed so now I just have an Airblade to nip down to 7/11. But, occasionally I rent a Big Bike for a day and go round the island. I only took a Ninja 650 once and I guess it was about a 2014 model. It was powerful enough for the roads here, but it suffered from Vibration which transmitted itself through the handlebars and after only about 30K I had "White Finger" like symptoms, i.e., numbness in both hands and fingers. I believe the newer models have sorted this problem, but you are looking at an old bike.

Totally agree with this. The stuff in the jars is fairly mild in comparison to the powder. As a backup I have used McGarretts' Mustard Powder which the sometimes they used to have in Makro. But I bought a 16 0z (454) gram tin of Coleman's powder and still have some left after 2 years.

I have lived on Samui for over 15 years. Yes it has changed, but the Ring Road has improved massively even though it is still undergoing major improvements. There are still many beaches to go where you may be totally alone (if you know where to look)....Which fortunately most tourists do not! These are views from my garden at dawn!

I am an ex North Sea Diver, I have been paragliding many times, owned very fast motorbikes, etc., but the Minivan Drive to Malaysia and back scared the SH+T out of me!
