Report Cannabis Advocates Warn of Economic Damage from Policy Shift
NedR69 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I rarely go in a bud shop and usually order online thru Prikpot. Recently I was in Bangkok and went in a nice glass front bud shop on THONGLO. I went in and the shop keeper, maybe he was owner, IDK and one young Thai man. I didn’t need any product, but I bought two small one-hit thing about the size of cigarette for gift to someone. 300ea and 600 total. He told me I just made his day! I translate that to I was his first customer that day. That really is sad. I dropped his a healthy tip in his jar. Main reason for going in was to ask about the doctor part of the new requirement. I was currious how often someone needs to get a Dr approval…he said valid 30 days. So like I said in a cannabis forum about 2 years ago…this is just an extra money maker, my guess for the gov or the hiso. -
Report Thailand Slashes Cannabis Shops Amid New Medical Regulations

Same as I said 3 years ago. They will regulate it so you pay more and then more revenue -
How many GPG is your water? If you have never tested the water quality hardness, you can't know for certain what you need, not even the size of the water softener IF your water quality needs it. GPG or grains per gallon. Cheap test strips (from a fresh sealed pack) are good to show what your hardness is. A softener only removes calcium and magnesium. All the other junk you gotta filter it and maybe treat it.

PRIKPOT states that they will facilitate the customer to get the required paperwork. I read that to say, Prikpot will advise or maybe give options for the doc to go see.

Feature New Cannabis Curbs Rattle Thai Shop Owners
NedR69 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I said this two years ago in a cannabis forum - this is nothing but a way to collect more money. I said exactly this - nothing will change, except you will pay for the doctor's paperwork, similar to the requirement when getting a driving license health certificate. -
Yes, probably true. If we were self-pay, I'd probably shop around.

When you see a doctor at BK Hospital Pattaya, IME they always take your BP and temperature. Even when going to dermatology or cosmetic in a different building.
-
Just tell them no BP check...tell them what it was when you checked it. For dentistry, I've only used BK H Pattaya and BK H Khon Kaen. Very high quality for the services I've had, including regular 6-month check-ups, cleaning, X-rays, fillings, and an implant. The price is very reasonable for what you are getting. NOS not available at BK H P dental department, fyi. Also, they provide all the paperwork and receipts for easy insurance filing.

Report Thailand Cracks Down on Illegal Expat Workers to Protect Local Jobs

Hard to understand why someone would leave their country and come here to work, and work for peanuts. -
5THB maximum. Take your own photo, use a white background and have someone take your pic, as you would for a PP photo. Make a picture collage, one sheet printed with multiple photos for visa extension. Take to print shop, send them the collage pic in email, print, 5 baht. But use a photo older than 6 months if it still looks match. 5 years old, probably not but under a year for me is safe.

Report Pattaya Motorbike Drivers Protest Strict Helmet Law Fines

I don't know but I'll play your silly game. Why should there be a law compelling people to wear helmets if they don't want to? -

Report Pattaya Motorbike Drivers Protest Strict Helmet Law Fines
NedR69 replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
I don't think fines for not wearing helmets will noticeably reduce the fatalities (despite the positive reports that will come). Many Thais and some Foreigners don't wear a helmet; it's only resting on their head. Motorcops included. Some don't even bother fastening it correctly or any at all. Worthless in both cases - they could be sitting still on motorbike and fall over and the helmet most likely to fall off easily - worthless, kinda like that gov't education.
