I won't wear a helmet, makes me look stupid
NedR69 replied to scubascuba3's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
I think it’s a great idea when someone doesn’t wear a helmet while riding a motorbike. Maybe if they crash and die, it will keep them out of the pool of breeding. The world will be a better place. -

Wonder what country he is from.....if it had been UK, EU, OZ, US you can be sure the nationality would be in bold, letting everyone know what country the criminal is from. Hmm... -
How much does health insurance cost in Thailand now?
NedR69 replied to Social Media's topic in Health and Medicine
Wow, that's almost 1/6th of the entire annual budget for some expats. -
I've seen FB Marketplace property for rent that stated "We do not accept Chinese or Indian".

No, this is incorrect. The code is stored until it gets erased, and even if the light is no longer on the code is there and it can be read until it gets erased while it's connected to the reader.

US, K-1 Visa, Sponsor requirement.
NedR69 replied to racinkc1's topic in Visas and migration to other countries
No, you do not need to be employed. Your income must be verified with your IRS 1040, if they request it. You do not need W2s, pay stubs, etc. Everyone is held to this same requirement for the K1. I'm certain of this....and I also do not recommend an immigration attorney if you can read and write. All the attorney will do is tell you what you need to provide to them and they fill out the Petition - you do all the leg work and everything except fill out the form. There are some cases that may need an attorney but it's not often unless you have some complications that must be dealt with. I'm in process now, and my I-129F petition was approved this month. Message me if you have more questions. Also, I suggest the FB Group K1 ( fiancèe visa) Support group. -
I don't believe you're decarbing cannabis if you cook it with a pizza. When cannabis gets higher than 148 degrees Celsius or 300 Fahrenheit, you have ruined your flower. Pizza cooks around 400 F or 205 C. If you felt any effects from doing that on pizza, it was most certain the placebo effect. It was a way for your brain to tell your body what it needs to feel better. I haven't read or seen many knowledgable posts or discussions about decarb. Time and temperature, must be closely monitored and controlled, and putting raw flower on cheese to cook on a pizza is a ridiculous to think you are doing anything more than toasting your flower. There are a couple of very good decarboxylation machines available, but I could not find one on Lazada or Shoppe. I bought mine on Amazon in the US, and I know it's available in the UK also with a 220v plug. Not decarb related, but I had a good laugh in Khon Kaen last May when the woman told me she just puts raw plant leaves in soups. I told her she is just eating plant matter and she looked at me like I had three eyes.

How should I deal with a very persistent Thai male?
NedR69 replied to bob smith's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
When you feed the monkey, you own the monkey. Whether it a cat, dog, giving someone a ride in your car, loaning some money, opening your door and allowing them in your home, or engaging in conversation you don't want. If by phone, text or email...the best response is radio silence. -
Deputy House speaker in hot water for entertaining parliament’s maids
NedR69 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
It could be to show gratitude for the work they provide. It's typical for management to do something like this, maybe once a year. -
Does she use this term around other people, or just to you? I wouldn't approve of being called that around others, for my own reasons.

Is there any type of business in the UK that you can use for an address? There are businesses in the USA that only do the mail address stuff you get your own address and mailbox. It's not a PO Box. I use one, I've never seen it, and I'll never go there, it's just a building that mail is received and processed. I use the address for official mail. Receive my mail, scan to a pdf, available same day, ship to me Fedex, ups, dhl, and can deposit checks in my bank. Tied to all my CC and banking and my pensions, anything official. Cost is about $30 USD per month. Hope you can figure something out for your situation.

Laughing at this nonsense. Your statement is only half correct. Temperature is what activates the THC, whether you decarb it or smoke it....it's the heat. Coconut oil, or butter too, is as you say "an effective medium for delivery". This is called infusion when you combine decarb'd flower with coconut oil and heated up.......to INFUSE the oil with already activated THC. If you try to combine the two and decarb and infuse together, you will only achieve a partial decarb. Decarb flower first, then infuse. You do not need coconut oil to decarb, do not use oil or butter or anything during decarb. Once you decarb, you can now consume the decarb'd flower as is. Sprinkle on food, salads, or eat just eat it. Maybe you mistakenly said this about coconut oil activating the THC, but only temperature at the correct range and for a set amount of time will activate it, not coconut oil or butter or anything else - only temperature. Same as the flame to a bowl or a joint.....the heat activates it. Cannabis can be decarb'd at home in the kitchen with an oven.

Sorry to hear of his misfortune. Why do so many yahoos leave their country and do not have adequate medical insurance. Sadly again, it sounds like the usual suspect. Thailand must be a haven for cheap charlie brits that have their priorities all hosed up. And they apparently do not understand the value of earning lifetime health insurance/medical coverage when they were working and that coverage could likely be worth more than any pension. Even the advert at the end of the story is about medical insurance. If any of this pisses you off or you still don’t get it…..well, there’s your sign. Regardless, prayers for his speedy recovery.

Thailand Has The Most Mpox Cases In Southeast Asia
NedR69 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
An outbreak of mpox, a viral disease then commonly known as "monkeypox", was confirmed in May 2022. The initial cluster of cases was found in the United Kingdom, where the first case was detected in London on 6 May 2022 in a patient with a recent travel history from Nigeria (where the disease is endemic). -
Maybe they are sad when they see you. Where is your West?

Why is it guys get pissed at some other dude for enjoying what the mans' wife served to them. Maybe look at the wife, and ask yourself do you want to stay with a cheat. Help her pack, and drop the 'C' off at the dude's place.

Pick your battles. You don't have to show up to every argument you are invited to.

SMH. "...Thai police not trained in crash and road safety protocol." This ain't the problem. That mindset thinking is like waiting for a fire to start, and then saying the fire department didn't put the fire out correctly. The problem is the loose nut behind the handlebars.....or steering wheel, and it starts long before that.
