    i get the irony of the "rare day of fresh air" . Well not anymore as of today february 11th. Pm2.5 is back from his day off. Tedious at best.

    We had condom machines in my french high-school and the "pilule du lendemain" (not sure in english, the day after pill or so..). usefull as otherwise, we would still have (unprotected) sex anyways with he risks encured (unsex (some of us at least)

    That whole bar scene is quite a cesspool. But the guys who enter these places need to understand that they need to play by the the rules of the "sewage" and wake up to the fact that there is no magic here beyond the thin curtain. They are in it for the money exclusively and that is effing it. Not for you "handsome man". Break that rule and you'll feel the whole stench of it dragging you down.

    Ok, so...Pretty much what the mayor says is that you can bring your floor mats and sleep there on the beach in case u can't afford or don't want to pay for a hotel room. Lovely.

    I did make a mistake myself in a 711 recently. I usually keep my 1000 thb notes in one specific compartment in Wallet. Sometimes a 100 thb note slips in if I dont pay attention. I pulled out a note from there rhinking it was a 1000 but it was a 100. I asked the clerk to check the cctv which proved me wrong. I apologised for my mistake and that was it. It happens.

    I am not an expert so forgive me if i say something dumb. Prohibiting sounds great, but does just doing that help solve the issue , meaning, do most people/farmers who resort to burninghave a choice currently /have the financial means to choose an alternative.

    Sure, could be in some cases. Among those that i was referring to, they didn't "turn themselves in" (at the airport or other), but were caught or checked for whatever reason (two of them were simply riding a motorcycle and driving a car and were stopped/pulled to the side by traffic officers). My guess is that they managed a bail and had to pack asap and take a plane.

    mmmm.....weird. I've been living in Thailand for 14 years now. Know quite a bunch of people who overstayed their visas by more than that. Never got to jail. Paid a fine and were sent back home (or went to an other country of their choice), and barred from re-entering Thailand for some time. True, they could afford the plane ticket (might be a bit different for those who can't and have no money at all ). Cheers

    Some decents lads too out there, even the "sensationalist" medias usually push forward the nasty, best-selling stuff. I lost wallet in a taxi, around 6000 thb, credit card etc..in it, plus a small card with my name and adress in Bkk. The next day the taxi driver droped it at the condo's management office. Not a baht missing. Cheers

    i'm in Pranburi since saturday (close to the sheraton villas). Wind was crazy strong until this morning. No-one in their right mind would have gone out for kitesurfing in the area or take anyone out at sea for that purpose. Insane.
