Absolutely nothing wrong with telling the truth, but when you are trying to ease 'tensions' its not the smartest thing to say, but old Joe isn't the smartest guy on the planet, or in the WH, or in his own head?????

The woman sitting down with 4 officers behind her is just absurd and a waste of time! If it was a drugs bust and they showed the perp with the all drugs etc, then that would be different!
