I agree with your sentiment. However the person saying should know when to say it, if one is trying to ease tensions?
From the BBC article:
"China's foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning called Mr Biden's remarks "extremely absurd and irresponsible". Speaking at a regularly scheduled press conference on Wednesday, she said that the comments were "an open political provocation" that violated diplomatic etiquette."
China's spokeswoman was probably also saying the truth?
Absolutely nothing wrong with telling the truth, but when you are trying to ease 'tensions' its not the smartest thing to say, but old Joe isn't the smartest guy on the planet, or in the WH, or in his own head?????
Well they would miss out on the picture of the guy with officers behind him?????
At least there is only 2 officers, so not a great waste of time, that they could be dong some work?
"They told police investigators that the Chonburi Provincial Police Commander Major General Kamphon Leelaprapaporn and about ten other officers, most high-ranking, allegedly extorted 140 million baht from them. "
So no pics of this guy and his cohorts?
Whilst obviously these three people did overstay and commit a crime, why do they insist on parading them in front of the camera?
The woman sitting down with 4 officers behind her is just absurd and a waste of time!
If it was a drugs bust and they showed the perp with the all drugs etc, then that would be different!
