  1. OMG...What next?....Make them drive on the correct side of the road? Give traffic signals, park tractors properly, look before exiting a side road............ Get off their backs.
  2. I always understood the sinod was just the groom's contribution to the cost of the wedding......no skullduggery there.
  3. In a word NO......they simply don't see it as a real problem either in terms of people's health or having a negative impact on tourism. People coming for two/three weeks won't know about it....and if they do they are only for a short time, so why worry about it? Long term health damage is long enough for politicians not to worry.......it'll be ages before kids suffer so they won't bother doing anything.
  4. We have it on our Mazda CX5.....it does seem to add to the shine on the paintwork, gives it a nice glossy finish....I think!!.....long term I also hope it will also add to the protection of the paintwork....but not too sure that will be the case.
  5. It all depends on wether you intend buying lady drinks.....they are a killer, financially.
  6. Wow thanks for that. We have run into problems re weight..... he's 25kg.....and not everywhere quotes weight restrictions in their blurb, which is a bit naughty if there is a no cancellation clause. Been looking at camping.....and nearly all are no pets....as you say they are not receptive to the idea....and to be honest I don't blame them if business is good why take on pets? The search continues......I think we will have focus our efforts along those of your wife's and seek out non-web site Thai resorts that might accommodate us. Cheers
  7. Mmmm that crossed my mind.....he hasn't got rage syndrome or anything like that.....but he can 'play hard'.
  8. He travels well.....but we have no other option but to take him.....and thanks for your kind offer to look after the wife...555
  9. Thanks.....I tried them as they say pet friendly...then thought best just check.....our cherub is 25kg so no go.
  10. I hate where i live.....I desperately need to travel.
  11. Bring it on...37 yesterday.
  12. Ha......yes.....he's fine with us.....and we live in the wilds, so he runs free.....but he would struggle in the city, shall we say.
  13. Might do that.....there's also a few "Thai" resorts near the hotels we used to stay at in Khao Yai....might check them out.
  14. Going to need to rough it i think....555 Found a similar site for 17k.......money to burn now.
  15. I think these rebels are in for a serious shock.
  16. Thanks.....but hotels are something we want avoid.....he could trash the place.....and if he thinks it is the vet's he could kill someone.
  17. OMG 20k for three nights at Te Mata
  18. Yes.....just searching now.....and came across one there.....'looks' good. Could try a couple of nights and see how it goes.....cheers.
  19. The family have looked after him previously.....that's why they won't anymore....555.....he is a bit of a handful. It would be irresponsible of us to palm him off onto strangers.....plus the wife won't consider that option anyway.
  20. He can in a fight......anything else and he struggles ......555
  21. What do people do for holidays if they have a dog? We can't get sitters and the wife won't put the little cherub in kennels. Looked at RVs, but the daily costs are astronomical. Not prepared to invest in a caravan.....been there, done that. Hotels are not a suitable environment for us....too stressful with the dog. So are there caravan sites with statics, what are they like? Is glamping feasible? What about Thai resorts with chalet type accommodation?.....do any or all of these places generally allow dogs? If you have stayed somewhere and been impressed with it I'd love to know the details. Thanks in advance for and suggestions.
