Just had mine repainted in the UK.
The guy sanded down all the plaster work with a huge sanding m/c.....then painted with primer and top coat........looks really good.
He said that the sanding was essential to clean the surfaces properly before painting.....could have been lying of course.
I don't have so many copies, but I do try to smile as they pull out every second copy I've studiously made as they put them in the bin........right in front of my eyes.
No idea to be honest...it was years ago that she had it made.....and she's lost any paperwork she originally had.
It just seems weird to me that the shop would take the chance of scamming her......she could have gone to pick it up with someone who knew what they were looking at.....then what?
