Would anyone be kind enough (and clever enough) to translate the items listed on the LHS of this bill? To give you a head start they are all drink related. The bill seems a tad high to me for what I received. I tried google translate, but no go. Thanks in advance if/for anyone makes/making the effort................I'll pop a cheque in the post.

Funnily enough.....no!!! The do have their karaoke, but it is once or twice a week for a couple of hours, then nothing for two or three months.....and it is strangely (to me) only on a morning....9 till 11. It pales into insignificance with funerals (the worst, and there is one a week, minimum), prayers for the village????, the local market, special temple events......and an outdoor badminton club that must have a sound system playing full blast before they can play.

For me it was a 'forced' move.....I was happy living a condo life in BKK.....but she bought the land, commissioned the house.....all her money......then told me about it when it was built!!!

ha!....yes badly phrased...looks like a joke at my wife's expense..... It is the neighbours, the villagers, the temples, people using the park, markets.......every single one of them has a huge PA systems that they put on full volume at the least excuse.........it is just ridiculous

Oh dear.....I'm pretty sure I'm not a psycho and don't do drugs......but still have the urge at times. Last week even the locals complained (only to each other).......the local temple hired one of those buses (90% of it is loudspeakers) and drove it around the village at full volume from 2am to 3am.......loud was not the word.

Yes, if they're over-subscribed they can pick and choose......very true......and then when they recruit more teachers they will be keen to accept.........a balancing act. An airline pilot once told me their medical examination requirements fluctuated with the supply and demand .....bit scary!
