This is a textbook case of statistical distortion: imports are subtracted in GDP calculations, so when they plunge—especially after a front-loading surge in Q1—the math artificially inflates growth. Doubt the sentence will be particularly heavy with it being a Thai shooting a farang.......not that that should have any bearing of course. My wife's uncle shoot his next door neighbour dead after falsely accusing him of having an affair with his wife. Got five years.
